  2. My nut explained soft food as anything that is easily mushed with a fork. Raw salmon can be spread, and tuna too. It is on my list for purée also early. They explained that every surgeon has different instructions. So follow your own plan given to you after leaving your follow up visits. I live down at the NJ shore, in a fishing town.   5. Frank's has a wing sauce that is low in carbs. If you are sticking to low carb and healthy fats your good. Grill the chicken wings with a rub, and dip once done in the sauce, then back to the grill! Vinegar will tenderize it and flavor it. Dip into low cal dressing! These treats help us keep on plan. If it's a social time, once in a while. I've mixed blue cheese into avocado and added a little salt and it was great! Tasty bites is all we have now! Make them count to curb fatty high cal cravings!   14. Had my 3 week follow up! Now clear to swim????! Surgery 6/30 and have lost 20lbs on their scale. My scale has a different number. The nurse said its off by 4 lbs.   16. Quest bar, I'm rounding into week 5 and have no problems so far with foods. I see my docs Today. Just curious if I could nibble on it since I'm going to a convention this weekend and it's easier to pack a bar in my purse. So any thoughts? My shake I can get in the morning.   18. Do you have any local Chinese take outs? You might enjoy there wonton soup broth without wonton. Or make your own broth. It's super easy, butcher beef bones in pot with Water to cover, whole onion, 2 stalks celery, 2 carrots and cover and cook on simmer 2 hours and season with salt and you'll have to strain out the liquid. But you can do it with chicken too. Fresh taste best! You won't gag I promise, and it will help you heal. Bone broth is so good for you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
