3 weeks post op and stall
I was sleeved 4/29. Lost 28.2 pounds total. 16.5 2 weeks post op. 1 pound only this week and it already freaked me out because I started waking everyday this week for an hour. Thought I would have lost more. I know 1 pound isn't a complete stall but it still freaked me out being I'm exercising now. So your not alone. Hopefully we all start losing. Sent from my iPhone

Seconds thoughts while undergoing nutrition phase
I am 3 weeks post-op. I too though the same thing back in 2007 when I first wanted to do the lapband. I had to lose 10% of my worthy before surgery. Started the diet lost 44lbs and thought why do the surgery, I got this. 7 years later and several diets, thousands of dollars on trainers and all I do is yo-yo diet, why because I get hungry, stay hungry and over eat. I lose 60 to gain 50 back, lose 50 gain 40 I finally said enough is enough. I finally bit the bullet. Regret, none. Do I have bad days yes but nothing like before when I used to over eat and hated myself. Now my bad day is, I'm thirsty and can't get enough fluids in lol. The best part about the sleeve is I am no longer hungry. That is the best part. My family can sit and eat one of my favorite meal. I just drink a Protein drink or bottled Water and I'm good. I don't crave any more either. So it is definitely a good tool for those that fall off the wagon a lot. Good luck to u! Sent from my iPhone

Thanks for the reply. Nurse called and did say it was probably the stitches under the skin I was feeling but definitely not the stomach stapled part. Thank goodness. Sent from my iPhone

Feeling the staples
Hi all, I am 11 days post op and feel a pinching, slight stinging feeling when I touch my stomach. I thought for a couple days it was my stitches but today I looked at my stitch near it and it's completely healed. So I started touching and I think it's the staples I'm feeling. Waiting on Doctor/assistant to call back but wanted to know if anyone else felt the same??? Sent from my iPhone

Two Questions, if you please :)
I am 3 days post op & on lovenox. I have factor lV liden which is a blood clotting gene so to prevent me from clotting I have to inject myself for 30 days. I also did it with my pregnancies. It's not bad. Just squeeze a part of skin on your sides and put the needle in at a 90 degree angle you won't feel anything if done right. Change positions. As for the blender dollar tree or Walmart should have a little chopper for $10. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@Katrinakit you can do it. You still have 11 more days. I didn't do so well myself. Not condoning slip ups but it happens. I am 3 days post op. Feeling I have better, doctor said everything went well, liver was still fat but he worked with it. That's all I remember lol. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sleeve and kids
I'm in the same boat would love to hear replies from other mothers. My surgery is Friday. My husband works over the road m-f home Friday evening sat and sun. So I take the kids ( 4 & 6) to school and pick up. I have my niece to help me but she works and has a life too so I don't like to ask for much help. I cleaned the whole house top to bottom, washed all laundry, bought enough Protein and drinks to last 2 weeks. I will prepare food tomorrow and freeze for the kids. Hoping all this is enough to get me by and not need any help. I also took out kids clothes for the week so I don't have to bend and move to get the clothes out each morning. When is you all's surgery date? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

"Snacking" on pre op diet
My surgery is Friday and I thought for sure I would call them to postpone because I just wasn't going to make it. The pre-op is hard the first 2-3 days for me. It was like detoxing all the carbs & sugar. After that it got easier but I cheated one day and it all came back and I had to start over and I could have kicked myself. I am back on track and it's not so bad now. I drink my 1st drink an hour after waking up, I clean the house, take kids to school do some errands, drink Water in between or have some broth if hungry still. I Have my second drink 3 hours from 1st, and pretty much same routine throughout the day. My doctor is more strict than most posts I have read. I am allowed 60grams of Protein so that's 4 Atkins advantage drinks & NUT told me to track on fitness pal keep everything I drink and eat in there no more than 700-800 cal. All the water with crystal light or plain I can drink, broth, diet V8, Gatorade or similar I can drink and that's all. I wish I can eat SF Jello or SF pudding, veggies or a lean protein but it's not on my menu. So I sleep early and take naps when I can to not think about it. Protein Drinks r too sweet for me so I sip on broth throughout the day to get that salty taste. Hope this helps. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
