  1. Lol! This is true. However, for me, after month two things started going so quickly. It was like I wanted things to slow down a bit. I do understand.
  2. I know the feeling. My first appointment was 4/27/16 and surgery was 12/5/16. Lots of tests, appointments and meetings and before I knew what was happening, I was headed to surgery. Almost 9 months ago. The time is a blur almost.
  3. I switched and my insurance didn't have an issue and I didn't need to switch my date either. I had RNY on 12/5/16
  4. Congrats. That's awesome.

  12. Thank you. I'm sorry your sick as well.???? I pray things work out for you and you get better very soon. Congratulations and let me know how things go. Yes, I'm hoping that the two weeks will be enough and doesn't linger!
  13. Hi, I'm scheduled for GB on 12/5 and have a chest cold. Do you think, I can be rid of it by then and if not will surgery be canceled? I don't have a fever. Is there anything I can do to help things along? TIA!
  14. What are some questions you asked your surgeon? I'm having RNY on 11/5 if all goes well and I'm curious. Thanks!
  15. Congrats to all of you! I'm having RNY 12/5
  16. Congratulations and best wishes to you!
  17. Lmbo @ skinny women are ugly too! I only told my Mom and my bf. I'm still deciding on telling others. Wow, a successful business woman at 45! That's awesome! That alone should let them know that "you got this" lol!
  18. I feel you! My BF has been telling me for years that I'm not big at all and how beautiful he thinks Iam... well, of course you think I'm attractive. I was this size when we met. And we met on a site called largefriends! When I told him initially, that I want it or need it to get weight-loss surgery, he continually said oh you don't need a weight-loss surgery you're not even that big as a matter fact you're not big at all! I had to drill it into his head that I have serious health problems and I'm tired of hurting when I go up and down the stairs and wash dishes and get out the bed. He finally seems to get it but then I hear it from strangers. It is really annoying! A neighbor who is in NURSING SCHOOL told me when I mentioned of being tired of being morbidly obese, that I am not obese... hahahahahaha.. laughing but serious. People, I tell you...
