8 months Post Op and 128 pounds down
Well I can't believe I've made it this far. It was tough for the first 6 weeks and now I can't imagine my life any different than what it is. I went from a size 24 to a size 12 within 8 months. No sagging skin and no regrets. I eat good and live a healthier lifestyle. Good luck to everyone just starting out! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Enjoying Food After Surgery/ Serving Amount
1. No. I do not enjoy food at all. It's a chore to eat. I'm rarely hungry but food is just not enjoyable. 2. I eat very little. 7 weeks post-op and I can barely eat 3ounces for the entire day 3. Yes. Big mistake for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Happy moment
We have similar stats. My HW was 342. I am 6 ft tall and wore a size 22. I am exactly 1 month post-op and I weigh 296. I'm in a size 18 but still struggling with my Fluid and Protein goals. Congrats on your weight loss. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How long before I feel good?
The physical is the easiest obstacle. Just get as much support as you can and ask as many questions as possible. Your life is going to change and you can never be too prepared. Good Luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Depressed
It's really tough. I didn't realize my connection to food until now. I see the results but I don't feel healthy because I really can't tolerate much. This is a pretty good forum for support but I had to reach out to my medical team. I am still struggling with the regret 5 weeks post op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Negative Nancy
I hate to be a "negative nancy" but I am so ready for this ill feeling to be over. I researched and researched this surgery but never knew I would feel this sick. 4 weeks post op and I am still struggling with liquids. Protein? Ha that's a joke. I we a teaspoon of tuna and ended up in pain with vomiting. Down 40 pounds but so not worth it. I use to swim and enjoy life and now I'm too embarrassed to be around anyone. I'm physically able to go to work but I don't feel I would be as productive. I'm dizzy all the time, exhausted and thirsty. My poor husband must be tired of all the suppositories and enemas. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

When will I stop regretting this surgery?
LadyJustice: I feel the same way. I was sleeved on April 5th. I was happy and now I'm miserable. I have no energy and I feel like such an idiot for doing this surgery, Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Leading up to my death?
My friend lost her mother after a Bypass due to a blood clot. I was afraid I would not wake up but I made my plans privately with my husband. I didn't say Good Byes because I wasn't ready to go. I felt God had a different plan for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
