  1. Typical day for me is a Protein shake or Greek yogurt for Breakfast, salad with a Protein like chicken for lunch and 3-4 oz of protein for dinner with some veggies. I eat a lot of raw veggies like carrots, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers as Snacks and also have one to two servings of fruit a day. Right now I can't stop eating Bing cherries! Meals are still fairly small, about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of food per meal
  2. @@swizzle I'm eating between 600-800 calories as well. One or two days I've gotten to 900 or so but that's rare. I have not been exercising, but that's just pure laziness on my part. I need to start though because I'm definitely in need of some toning. I'm starting to look like a deflated balloon!
  3. Hey March Bypass Folks, How is everyone doing? Overall I couldn't be happier with my decision to have RNY! I'm down 81 lbs since my first consult in January and 59lbs since surgery on March 14th. Still have about 50lbs to go. Health wise I've never been better. better. I also am loving shopping for new clothes! I still have trouble reaching my Protein goals and my hair is falling out by the handful on a daily basis, but I'm trying not to let it get me down as I know it won't last forever. Anyway, just thought I'd check in and see how everyone else is doing!
  4. You look so young !! It seems you are from the new picture but the weight made you look older Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Depends on what you consider young! I'm 34...thank you!

  6. I had the rny 12 weeks ago and just ate celery yesterday...still alive! Your pouch will let you know what you can have. I avoid carbonation, nsaids, sugar and bread
  7. I'm only 3 months out: Initial consult: 1/19/16. - 261lbs Surgery day 3/14/16 - 239lbs 1 month- 214lbs 2 months - 200lbs Today - 190 lbs Total lost since January - 71lbs. Amount to goal - 65lbs
  8. I have Horizon BCBS. Had my first consultation 1/23/16 and had my surgery 3/14/16. My insurance required 3 nutritionist visits, a psych eval, and a letter of medical necessity. The surgeon however required a breathing test, sleep study, upper endoscopy, and bloodwork. I was able to get all of this done in 6 weeks over about 16 doctor's appointments. Instance approval took 24 hours. It's possible but you have to be very organized and follow up with all of the Drs often. Also, it is very dependent on your surgeons availability and how motivated his support team is to quickly move you through the process. Good luck!
  9. You look amazing, and 10 years younger!
  10. I'm 2 months post op. Gas is not an issue for me in any way.
  11. 199.0!!! Met my goal and onederland today!
  12. I did not want to take before photos at all and you can see it in my face in the pictures. But, I'm so glad I did. I'm only 6 weeks post op but I can already see the difference thanks to those pictures! You'll be so happy you took them once the weight starts coming off. They will remind you of all you have accomplished!
  13. I don't know what size you are but if you are a 12 or above I suggest the jeans at torrid. They have a decent stretch to them so you can buy a size that fits your legs and butt and they will still stretch around your tummy. I have always had slimmer legs, no butt and have carried my weight in my stomach so these have been my go to jeans for years. They are a little pricey but the often have but 1 get one 50% off sales and coupons you can find online.
