Got my new Fitbit Charge HR
Count me in! I just ordered a UP2 from Jawbone Activity that will be here today. ETA: I won't be able to link with Fitbit but will totally do the challenge. This will help motivate me to get up and moving as I normally sit on my butt on the weekends.

IUD - What should I expect?
Everyone will be different on this. I've had it twice and didn't experience the cramping and pain others have. There was a pinch when they dilated my cervix (I'm assuming that's what caused the pinch), mild discomfort that I couldn't even describe as cramping and then it was done.

Exercise stall !
Muscle is denser than fat and takes up less room but a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. I do agree, however, that inches may be lost when pounds are not.

Do you use PatchMD vitamin patches?
I'm still in the pre-op stage but purchased these and started using them. I am Vitamin D deficient which is causing major fatigue. I had blood work done 2/23/16 (started taking these 3/4/16) and my regular doctor has agreed to do the tests again on 4/5 and hopefully again mid-June which is right before my surgery.

Vitamin patches?
I just received mine and started using them on 3/4/16. I can already tell the Vitamin B12 is working. My regular doctor knows I'll be having surgery done in June and agreed to submit orders for new blood work next month (had it done 2/23/16) to see if my Vitamin D levels have gone up. This will tell me if the Patches are working or not. @@Justina0218 You can find them in the BariatricPal Store.

Your Healthy Lunch
My surgery isn't until June but my lunch today is 1 cup of spinach with a serving (2 oz) of sliced turkey breast, 1/2 an avocado and a serving of pumpkin seeds, no dressing.

Hair loss
I'm so glad to have read this. I have very thin, fine hair and have been losing it since I stopped breastfeeding in 2007. It's so thin on top that if I pull it back into a pony tail you can see my scalp. I'd rather lose this weight and become healthy than worry about my hair. I have already started looking into human hair wigs and will embrace them gracefully if it gets to that point (and I expect I will). The upside is I'll get to wear different styles and colors!

How long are you planning to take off from work?
I have a desk job that doesn't require much exertion. My surgery will be on a Thursday and I'll be back to work the following Tuesday.

TREAT YO SELF
My surgery is set for June 2016 and I've already decided what one treat will be when I hit just under 250lbs. I'm taking the kids and going zip lining. Something I've wanted to do but couldn't because of my weight. We're all excited.

Vitamins, Vitamins, and more Vitamins
Has anyone tried the Vitamin Patches through the Bariatric Pal store? I'm also wondering if I should start them now, surgery is in June.
