For Those Who Work, How Long Were You Off
My surgeon said 4-6 weeks off. I move around alot for my job...sometimes at my desk, but I drive to homes as well. I have lifting and driving restrictions. He said that, in addition to pain, I have to get used to eating new because I'm always moving and food isn't readily available. Dawnie_doo

So, it seems like I may have to do my nutritional visits over again. The new bariatric program is much more strict regarding their testing and requirements...which is a good thing. However, all of this pushes me back even more! Smh Oh the wait!!!! Dawnie_doo

Lost more weight!
Congrats! Yeah it's rough. I'm waiting for approval. I've lost 11 lbs so far. I'm cautious to lose more because I've heard people get denied. I have a few comorbidities. So I'm hoping and praying for the best! Dawnie_doo

Update... Just left the Dr's office. They want to review my info from the first bariatric Dr and let me know what they can use and what tests/steps need to be repeated with the new bariatric Dr. The new Dr has a $600 fee that needs to be paid before surgery, which insurance doesn't cover. They are going to see if they can reduce it because I had everything done already. ???????????? ...and more waiting begins... Dawnie_doo
