Ladies...I cried when talking to the APN before I went home. She was giving me all these instructions. So I asked what about all of my meds? When do I start taking those? She said OH NO, you don't have to take any of your normal meds. Everything had been regulated. You hear that? NO DIABETES meds, NO blood pressure meds, NO cholesterol meds!!!! OMG!!!! Listen! If it wasn't for the pain I would've done laps around my floor. Oh did I cry like a big baby!!! Lol I'm about to cry again just thinking about it. God is awesome! Now this gas...yeah it sucks but I keep walking and I start burping. However my other end seems sealed Lol Oh well. Time to go get my sips. 1 week to go for my post op visit!!! Dawnie_doo

Yes mine is painful too. I'm sleeping all the time, until the Drs and nurses come in and wake me up Lol I'm going home today. Thank God for no complications. They all say I'm doing really well. Dawnie_doo

Isn't she lovely?!? Lol Drs told me I'm doing well so far. I'll be going home tomorrow. Got nauseous once, but no vomiting. Pain meds are great!!! I walked once already ???? I get the catheter out this morning. Then they start me walking again. Please, excuse my post. I know it's all over the place. Blame it on Dilaudid lol Dawnie_doo

I couldn't sleep either. I'm on the way to the hospital now. Many prayers went up for us 8/08 folks!!! Dawnie_doo

Frenchie, trust me, you'll want the time. I started my process in January and I hit a few snags with insurance. I'm just having my surgery on August 8th. I needed the time to process all of this and to prepare. It's definitely about more than just "weight loss". I'm realizing exactly how much of this is in my brain because this liquid diet is challenging me Lol Make use of your time wisely...think about how you got this far and why...and embrace your journey.
