  1. So it must just be a normal point to stall. Hopefully it'll pass soon.
  2. I broke an old stall like that. It didn't work this time though
  3. Hey guys. I was sleeved on 10/6/16 at 284lbs. I'm currently 204/205 and have been stalled for like 2 weeks. I run 3 miles 5-6 days a week. Any advice on breaking this stall?? I want to get under 200!! Lol
  4. Thanks for this thread. I'm going through the exact same thing. I lost 20 pre op and 21 post op. Surgery was 10/6. For the past 1 1/2 week I've still been at the same weight. I'm waiting for this stall to break. I was getting frustrated but this thread has relaxed me. Thx again!
  5. Hi. @@flesteresq I had mine on October 11th. I had mine in Ashland Kentucky and had a fairly ok recovery so far. I'm still on the liquid phase so hoping the other phases go as smoothly. My issue is getting in the liquids though. Hope your recovery is going easy! Hey @kyboo1972. Glad to hear things are okay. The liquids was hard for me in the beginning but it gets easier. Each day you'll notice it gets easier and easier to get liquids in. Everything is going well for me now. I'm now allowed soft foods which is great even tho I can only do a bite or two.
  6. Pain meds in the hospital made me nauseous but that went away immediately after they gave me the nausea meds. The gas pain sucked but goes away after a few days. Dehydration is an issue if you don't continue to sip sip sip. Other then that no pain for me.
  7. Just responded to your message. My incisions are starting to itch but that's about it. What have you puréed so far? I'm sure that's a hell of a lot better than liquids lol
  8. Hey how are you feeling? I know we both got sleeved on October 6th. I am on to full liquids but still not reaching my Protein or Fluid intake goals. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I can eat about 4oz of yogurt in one sitting then I'm full. I'm trying to do that about six times a day small amounts more frequently. Im getting about 32oz of Water daily. Just wondering how you are doing being as though we were sleeved the same day? Hope all is well. Sent from my LGLS770 using the BariatricPal App Hey!! I'm feeling good even though I'm sooo not meeting my protein goals yet. I notice I can take in more each day. I'm not in pain and I've been out and about. I hate the taste of my protein shakes now so I've ordered some from the Bariatric Advantage website to see if they have something I like. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. Have you had your follow up yet?Monday is my follow up. When's yours? I've been adding a tablespoon of unflavored protein to every thing. Well I try... I'm down almost 30lbs since starting the preop diet. So hey it works for me! Sent from my LGLS770 using the BariatricPal App That's great! I'm down 34lbs since pre op too. My follow up is 10/26. That sounds like a plan. I might have to try that. I'm still getting use to how quick I get full. No pain or discomfort though.

  10. Gas x strips, comfortable clothes, fluids, and protein How are you doing over there?
  11. It's so tempting to try and skip ahead. I feel you. The hospital made me a banana milkshake the second day after my surgery. It was the best thing I've ever tasted. I was sleeved 2 days before you and I've been drinking shakes, thin soups, yoghurt etc since day 2. Had no problems. I don't know what I'd do having to be on clear liquids for so long, so you're doing awesome. I've lost 8 pounds since surgery (I'm 6 days post op). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I have been on a liquids diet since 2 weeks before the surgery. Idk how I'm surviving. I just want regular food. I know i could easily get in my Protein with real food like yogurt, cottage cheese etc. It's just getting so difficult. Tong hard not to skip ahead.... Sent from my LGLS770 using the BariatricPal App You'll get there! It just takes time.
  12. I get the same feeling. I think it's the liquids going into the narrow stomach opening. I try to take smaller sips. I'm sure it'll go away soon.
  13. @comor83 yeah I underestimated the gas pain too. I was so gassy and bloated. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. It's starting to go away now
  14. Yeah this part sucks. My surgery was the 6th so guess this is day 2 post op. Im on my pain meds. I keep getting the hiccups which doesn't feel to hot. I've been tired.
  15. Today is my first day post op. I'm feeling sore and have been in and out of sleep most of the day
