  1. It is better... I am walking better and the gas is going away but not completely gone. No nausea thank god. Just sore still. Need the rest of this gas to go and I will be in there. Thanks for checking on me. So sweet.

  3. Congratulations night.. I was sleeved Monday and I am now in recovery process. I'm excited to see my self in 4-6 months. Good luck with everything .
  4. I can't wait until this gas dissolves. I'm walking doing gas x but it's still here. Hopefully it will be gone by end of the week Hang in there, the first 2 months were the worst for me! Vomiting gas bubles few time a day, had 0 appetite and also had days where i just did not want to leave the bed all day, sad for no apparent reason. But all that has passed, still have those days and still vomiting but all under control. Got my appetite back, just 3-5 bites and im stuffed!
  5. I had my surgery mon dec 5... I don't feel the best right now.. I look at your transformation and hope that I get results like you. . I will be glad when I get over gas pains. I have been walking and gas zing a lot but still gas pain. Hopefully it will be gone soon . But you look absolutely marvelous .

  7. Thank you. I am still in a daze honestly. I woke up to a coughing spell and felt like I was dying. But I'm ok. Hard to try and get liquids in but I'm trying. Belly really sore but it will get better
  8. Thank you. I am very sore this morning and I been coughing up a lot of mucus. But I'm feeling better. Just trying to stay positive and embrace this change in my life

  12. I hope so . Today I fell better, I have six lap sites and they are quite small. Still walking to remove gas . But I feel better than yesterday. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. Glad all went well. And, it probably won't take 6 mths to say that, probably 6 days! It really does get better every day of the healing phase.
  13. I didn't do ice Water but the ice felt good going down to me . My nurse kept bringing them in so I would stay hydrated. I can't wait until post op day 5 or 6 . So this gas will go away.
  14. Hi QueenBX.... they did give me gas x plus I brought my own. It helped some but walking and breathing exercises are the best. I fell asleep today due to nausea med. plain Water make me gag so nurse said do flaored water pack and I have been doing so . I will def parlay for you and I'm sure you will do great. I have 6 lap sites that are really small . I'm just sore but this too shall pass.
  15. Hi everyone... I'm still alive,lol. I had my sleeve done yesterday. It was a rough day 1 with the gas pain and nausea. However , today I feell a lot better.... still have some gas pain but I'm burping a lot now. . I am telling myself this is temporary and in 6 months I'm sure I will say this was a great decision.
  16. Okay good people... had surgery yesterday on Dec 5. I am still in shock that I did it. Yesterday was rough I won't lie. The gas pain was awful . I walked and walked and walked. I I feel better today. I have been trying to drink water but it makes me gag. So since I couldn't do that the nurse gave me ice chips and you would have thought she have me a steak,lol. Walking and coughing and using that ispirometer is uncomfortable but so necessary. Today I am burping like crazy , guess gas is coming out too end. I am still sore in my belly area. Trying to get protein in and water. Keep me in your prayers. I am doing much better than yesterday.
  17. Hi bariatric fan... surgery was done yesterday. The gas pain was awful yesterday and kept me nauseated. I was feeling really bad. But I walked and used my incentive spirometer for breathing exercise and I feel a lot better today. I thank you all for your prayers and support during this time. I desperately needed both.

  20. Hello all... I made it to Texas and at the hospital waiting to be called back to be prepped for surgery... excited and a wee bit nervous... my wonderful son is here with me so he is keeping me updated about all latest news in young people world ( he is 20 years old) . So, he is a good distraction. I will post an update when I wake up, lol.
  21. I'm glad my baby is a good son as well. I made it to Texas.... at the hospital now doing registration and I will update everyone when I am able to text.
  22. Thank you. Yes, my son is wonderful . He always tries to take care of his mommy. I thank God for him and for each of you that have kept me in your thoughts. I am truly grateful .
