  1. Gloucester - I love drunk typing! It is so fun to come back the next day and see what I have said!! hahahahha PJTP: Went to the movie with BethinVa. We saw Knowing. She now knows what kind of a chicken I am - I think I hit her on the shoulder when the creepy guys in the movie were coming after the kids. We had a nice dinner of Soup with a glass of wine. Now I have to clean up my house because the cleaning lady comes tomorrow!!! I know - crazy talk!! hahahaha
  2. Beth - should we get together for some Easter mashed potatoes??
  3. Ebony - I am sorry to hear it is so awkward at work! I totally agree with Tap - trust no one! You never know who is kissing butt and reporting back to the boss. {{{Big Hugs}}} PJTP: For some reason my band is very tight today. I am having a hard time with soup!
  4. Same here Brandy! This is so far my biggest success! I love weighing less than my husband too!
  5. I have been thinking about what to do for Easter dinner. It is just my husband and I so nothing big especially when I will only have three bites.
  6. PJTP: What if it were YOU hanging up on this wall....If it were YOU in that sandwich you wouldn't be laughing at aaalllllll......hahahahaha I love this commercial!!
  7. Susan - it sounds like you are doing great! 10 pounds is awesome! Taking this week off is probably a good idea, you can get all your rest and be ready for Monday! {{{hugs}}}
  8. Nephew Update: The little guy is still in NICU. They took out his feeding tube for awhile but it has been put back in. He is not suckling hardly at all. His problems are caused by my sisters gestational diabetes. All of the tests have been negative. He is still under the lights for jaundice. His level was 18 and has only gone down to 17.5 so far. They sent in a speech pathologist to look at him, I guess she will help teach him how to suckle?? I dont really know. They have switched him to soy formula as he was vomitting up all the regular variety. He now has a bleeding butt from diaper rash. My sister is just beside herself! I think he will be fine eventually - he just needs some support in the hospital for awhile longer. Thank you everyone for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers! I hope to be ablet to get back to Colorado to meet him soon!
  9. Fanny – Thank you so much for posting the photos! They are so neat! I really enjoy learning about other cultures. Tap – My husband is from the beach – Corpus Christi Texas and does not like seafood. I am an Army brat and love it! Glouster – I agree with you. The person who does more should receive more no matter their sex or any thing else. My daughters pulled that same no answer stuff with their cell phones. It drove me nuts! You did well by driving over to see her! EbonyRose – I am so sorry you are having a difficult time at work. I have heard a lot more of these types of things happening with the economic downturn. It seems like employers are looking extra hard for anything to complain about. I hope it resolves soon! It is so stressful especially since we are usually at work the majority of our waking hours! I also agree with LuLu – document everything because believe me they are documenting about you! That is standard HR procedure – document, document, document. This way if they try to fire you , you could have some recourse. {{{Big Hugs}}} BethFromVA – I am also into genealogy. I found that my fathers grandmother was from the Ingalls family. Also I found free black and mulatto relatives listed from about the 1700’s. Pretty cool! I love doing the research. It is sooo fun! Babygrl – Sweet Dreams!! Plain –You intimidate me all the time! HA! PJTP: I met two ladies tonight who have recently been banded at Starbucks. (I met them at Starbucks - they are not performing surgeries at Starbucks...yet) The contacted me on LBT. They were really nice and I enjoyed our chat. Both of them told me I look like Marg Helgenberger. I had to look her up when I got home. Hahahaha
  10. No workout today.
  11. Yes you will! It is a nice feeling! I am wearing 12's now but I do not think that will be for long. I must carry my weight in a weird way because the scale says 194 this morning. My co-worker weighs 160 and she is barely in a 12. My 12 are a little loose so that is odd. She is about 2 inches taller than I am - I am 5'2" and she is 5'4". It just goes to show you how it is difficult to compare one person to another!
  12. I hope you can get the reflux resolved! That sounds awful!! {{{hugs}}} Awesome! Good Luck! Great! You are going to be so happy this time next year! I am on Facebook too! Send my a pm and I will add you! :smile: It sounds like you are too tight. You should not have to suffer through rough days! I am pretty tight right now too but an able to eat regular food but not much of it. Just about 1/4 cup probably. I cannot eat many things either. Yesterday I had a cheese stick mid morning and some lentil soup for lunch and just a cheese stick for dinner. I had one protein drink that kept me feeling full yesterday evening. I am able to drink lots of water with no restriction which is a good sign. Even with eating so little I am not showing any losses on the scale this week. I have exercised so I hope to show some losses soon! Good Luck!

  14. Little Shane is still in the NICU. They had to put in a feeding tube as he needs some help with feedings. He has hardly nursed so they had no choice but the tube him. At first they had the rate up to high so he was vomiting everything up. They have since turned it down so hopefully he will get stronger soon. I appreciate all of your kind words and prayers sent his way. I wish I could be in Colorado to see him. Here is a picture from this afternoon.
  15. Today is my bandaversary!!! One year ago today I changed my life. It has not always been easy in fact sometimes it has been pretty darn hard! But I have to say it has been well worth every minute of it!! Happy Bandaversary to all of you too!!
  16. Please say a prayer for my brand new nephew Shane. He was born yesterday at 37 weeks. He is in the NICU as his blood sugar is really low. They fear his pancreas may not be working properly.
  17. Thanks Cubs! That is so nice of you to say! I finally broke down and went to the store to purchase some new pants. Size 12! I hope they do not remain at my house for long but it is sure nice to wear them today! Yay!! My banaversary is the 4th. I cannot beleive it has been a year! I am looking freakin good as compared to last year! ha! Your salmon sounds sooo good! I am so hungry now! When can I come over for dinner? I sure hope you live close so I do not have to drive very far! hahahaha
  18. Thanks for the update Susan! I can't wait to hear how things progress! {{{hugs}}}
  19. Wow - sounds similar to my ex-husband! How frustrating!! Thinking about you Susan! So sorry about your toe! I really need to do the measurement notebook. I am just coming out of a very long stall. It would have been nice to have my measurements! My doctor took measurements before surgery but we always forget to look at them. What a great story! Thanks for sharing! Lu - hope your ankle is better! Now for me - I went and purchased some new clothes in size 12 last night. It feels so nice have something that fits even though I hope it will not be for long! lol I still see pictures of me and just see FAT even though I have lost so much. I frustrate myself! I am going to start the couch to 5k I think. I need to get moving more. Now to update FaceBook. I hope you all are having a GREAT day!
  20. I am nearing my banaversary! 85 pounds down! I feel soooo much better! I look a lot better too! I have changed my life.

  23. I need new clothes! I hate to buy stuff since I do not plan to be wearing them long. I think I may head over to Goodwill or something.
  24. Susan! Good Luck! I will be thinking of you!! {{{hugs}}}
