  1. I have the VG band and I am up to 7 1/2 cc. When I was at 7 cc I pucked quite often just about everytime I eat something. So I went and got a 1/2cc and now I cant keep anything down not even liquids. I get away with it some of the times eating or drinking. I know for one I am not chew well enough. But I am still loosing the weight I just dont want to mess anything up inside. My doctor got on me and told me to chew well or I will be loosing the band if I dont do things right. I was 345 back in Nov. of 05 now Im at 260 at the present time. I just got to work on my mind-set with how I eat. I still think I can eat like I dont have the band. I see that my portions will be even smaller as the fills increase. I just got to stop the pucking everyday and focus on lighter and healthier foods.
  2. I been experimenting with it off and on since Ive been band. I think its a healthier lifestyle than eating meat, at least for me. I am training myself to get off meat, I stay on www.Goveg.com website for my motivation and info to help break my addiction from meat.
  3. Oh, I will start working out at least 4 times a week.
  4. When I had my surgery I waited for about two weeks after then I started on the tredmill and build myself up to weights. Then I just stop working out for a long time, like 8mths. Now I just went and got me a membership last night at my local gym and started working out last night. It felt great cause I know this will aid in losing weight and build some confidence in me.
  5. Yeah they have the Muscle Milk Light out now. I went to GNC last night and was about to get it. Ive been using Isopure off and on since my surgery. It was recommended by my Dr. as well. I finally got back in the gym and I may get on the Muscle Milk Light once I get deep into my workout plan.
  6. http://www.carterlapband.com/office.php I used United Health Care for my surgery. Dont remember how much it was though. I just wanted to know if my insurance would cover it and waited to see if they would approve it, they did. It took a lil time but it was worth the wait.
  7. I used Dr. Richard Carter in Arlington TX (Dallas) at the USMD Hospital. Excellent guy I felt comfortable with him and his staff. And they took good care of me. Any questions or concerns I had it was answered with patiences.
  8. I guess it depends on how restricted you feel. I just had a fill 2/9/07 and I have not had one since I left TX back in 6/06. I finally found a Dr. to do it in New Orleans and he told me to see him in a month. I was long over due.
  9. You will just fine, I know how you feel, I was the same way for my count down! You have a very beautiful picture.
  10. I cant seem to eat anything during the morning and if I force the issue to try and eat in the morning, it hurts and feels uncomfortable to swallow. Even in the middle of the day it tends to be hard to eat unless I nibble on something. But at night after 6pm its on, I can eat to much some nights more than I should.
  11. I am down to 302lb as of today. So far I have lost 39lbs since Nov. 7th
