  16. Welcome LORI, I'm also new to the forum & currently waiting word from my provider. The psych. eval. went pretty smooth for me , after answering about 500 crazy questions on paper the only thing he really asked me was if I ever intentionally threw up to lose weight. He said some people will eat too much and all the wrong things with the intentions of throwing up and that can cause some serious problems. I assured him I hated to throw up and that would never happen. Good luck in your journey. JohnC

  18. Welcome Brad, I'm 57 and I've been 300+ most of my adult life. I didn't have any health problems at age 30 either, even with my obesity, but now I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. I wished there was such a thing as a lapband when I was 27 I probably wouldn't have the health issues I have today. Good luck in your journey. JohnC
  19. Welcome Cindy, I too am new to the forum and seeking the lapband. Also my wife is not in favor of the surgery because of possible risks involved with any surgery, but I told her I'm going to have much greater risks if I don't have the surgery. Good luck in your journey. JohnC
