  1. Some veganized traditional X-mas food:
  2. I'm not really sure what people are referring to or looking for when they say "bariatric" (app, cookbook, whatever else) - however, if you're looking for an app that tracks nutrition: Cronometer is all you need.
  3. Some fruit. Kind of a wrap made with fermented tofu that's supposed to resemble feta cheese, spinach and zataar spice mix.
  4. Too expensive and definitely not gourmet but it was ok: Soup with seaweed on top:
  5. I can assure you, there is no deadline. Eat less calories than your body needs and you're going to lose weight, even years out. I recently lost about 2 kg because we had a stressful time at work and I ate less than I usually do. It's likely that I'm going to gain that back when things will be a bit slower again but for me it's proof that I can lose weight by eating less even several years out, be it intentional or not..
  6. That was basically the road I took in the end. And don't believe that nonsense that you stop losing weight after a year ("honeymoon phase") or so. It's simply not true. In fact it's IMO a blatant lie.
  7. Made wraps out of some stuff I had at home. For lunch tomorrow: Dinner tonight: And because I always overestimate what might fit into a wrap, the stuffing is part of dinner as well:
  8. You don't choose goal weight. Goal weight chooses you.
  9. It's less colorful but tastes good:
  10. It's the calories. Not "the carbs". Not "the fats". Not "high protein only". It's the calories. Always. Doesn't matter where they're coming from. Eat more than you burn and you're going to gain weight. There is no evil magic in "carbs".
  11. I think this belongs in the category "True Food Crimes": microwaved potatoes, partly with green pesto and topped with cashewsan, partly with sate sauce. Red bell pepper, green beens and mushrooms fried in the oil that the vegan filet was fried in.
  12. Bread with mock tuna, sandwich creme and some fermented Kraut-stuff. Miso broth with seaweed-stuff on top.
  13. Chicken and... waffles?? Tbh, this German here can't imagine. Are the waffles sweet tasting or more neutral?
  14. Lunch after having shopped for groceries:
  15. Something very similar to the last but the tortellini have a tomato filling.
  16. Vegan tortellini with green pesto, self made parmesan substitute and a "chicken" filet. Unfortunately no daylight picture.
  17. Fruit always seems to glow when you take a picture using daylight.
  18. Fruit bowl with mixed nuts and Alpro skyr underneath. Toasted raisin bun and coffee not pictured.
  19. The board closed a while ago. It never seemed to have much traffic. With more and more people getting WLS I'd like to know where people are gathering. Considering the amount of people getting WLS places like BP or Reddit don't have much traffic as well.
  20. Because ugly looking foods deserve some picture love, too:
  21. It tasted really good. Leftovers for tomorrow evening (I'm on call anyway) and three portions of plain rice for freezing.
