  4. 2 sisters that were overweight and had Gastric Bypass. 1 Brother who was always overweight and then 1 day stopped eating properly and he lost a ton of weight but is now gaining back after 10 years. My mother has always been overweight but Not considered Morbidly Obese like us kids. My daughter is 18 and she is morbidly obese she is about 5'2 and weighs around 285-300. I know that she has gained since entering University but She won't let me see her # on the scale.. I have tried so many times to help her lose with me in the past. She doesn't really want to go to the gym or anything. She is still in denial about her weight. I have suggested the Sleeve to her. My mother supports me and 1 of my sisters supports me. My daughter is more concerned with me treating her like she is a "Fatty" (these are her words).
  5. What questions should I ask the surgeon? This is my 1st appointment with him after completing all required 6 month appts. I will find out the Surgery date at this appt. as well.
  6. I started this Journey 1/21/16 and I have completed Consultation, Psych Eval, all Nutrition appts and Now I have an appointment with the Surgeon 6/7. I was told that I would get my Big Date at this appt. If anyone can give me a few questions that I should ask the surgeon that would be great. I mean I have my own questions plus I would love your input for extra questions, just to make sure everything is covered. I would like to thank you all in advance. Blessings

  15. Hello everyone I started in Jan and now I have completed all of my requirements. I meet with the surgeon on 6/7 . At this appt he will give me a date. I hope it's in June. I'm nervous, I'm excited I feel like I'm all over the place. I am afraid of my hair falling out, not getting enough protein and liquids. I just need reassurance and someone to hold my hand. I want to get protein drinks now while I'm still up and in the mood because I don't think I will be able to after surgery. I'm in Rochester by the way if anyone wants to be my buddy.
