  4. What I always say, "sometimes it isn't what you eat, it is about what you DIDN'T eat". Some frosting, 2 bites of cake while not "good", in the past what would you have eaten? I ate a handful of almonds tonight but bAck in the day, it would be a bag of them and some Cookies as well.

  6. 3 months out now. Surgery I was at 274 (when I started the process I was 310). When doc told me he thinks I was going to hit "healthy" weight." I'm like what is healthy? He said 165/170. My wife and I nearly laughed him out of the room. This morning I weighed 204. Can't believe it! Doc and nutritionist both said I'm a star patient high protein, lots of water, low carb, low sugar and work out 6 days a week (averaging 16k steps a day) This coming from someone who hated the gym. Now I hate it when I miss. Life is so different now. All good things. I'm so used to what I eat I rarely think about the food I'm "missing". I've been lucky no complications or anything. Hope you guys are doing great too!!

  14. I was sleeved on February 18th. I started at 310. Pre surgery I was at 274 and this morning I weighed 231. Things going good. Following plan and working out 6 days a week.
  15. Yep, I'm in the gb area. I was so nervous but I really lucked out with no real issues so far post op and my wife and family has been awesome. I think what helped the most was working out before really cleaning up my eating prior to surgery so it wasn't overwhelming after. We weigh every thing, portion it out so it is easy to grab and go.
  16. I went to aurora with dr. McKenna best decision ever. He really knows his stuff. I was amazed when he explained how he does the sleeve, going through each cut and why. Great experience. I may just be lucky but this Thursday will be a month and I've had no complications and everything has been great. Highest weight 310 Surgery weight 274 One month later on Thursday 243
  17. Am I the only one on the 18th?! Hoping to have someone else freaking out at he same time.
