Restriction loss after 2 fills
Neither. I am losing fast so the overall plan is working, just wondering about other's experiences. When you started getting fills did you have to adjust and if so, how often until the green zone?

Do you have that full feeling or is that something that never comes?

Restriction loss after 2 fills
Banded 1/21/16 and have had 2 fills (3cc and 2cc). Last one was under fluroscope and was the max I could take; 3 ccs caused a blockage and Water wouldn't go down. After about a week, I feel like there is zero restriction. I can tell the band is there if I eat too fast, but never get that full feeling and am hungry at night after dinner. Anyone have similar experiences? Doc says it gets better by the 3rd fill but wondering what everyone else's experience is. How many fills till you hit that green zone and feel the constant restriction and full feeling?

Calcium
NUT confirmed tri phosphate is like carbonate and difficult to absorb. Now where does everyone recommend getting their citrate from? That stuff isn't cheap!

Calcium
So, I ran out of the bariatric advantage citrate chews and got some gummies from Costco. Brought them home and saw they are triphosphate. Is that similar to carbonate? Hate for them to go to waste.

How much calcium does everyone take? My doc has me taking 1500 but it seems high.

Frustrated
@@SusanFrye, @@Seraphina how's it been going for the two of you?

I'm banded!
Heard differing things: the nerve (the name slips my mind) that is near the stomach ends in the left shoulder and is irritated. Also due to gas pain travelling to the left shoulder. For the first few days it is due to the c02 they pump you up with then, for me at least, it was the gas pain in my stomach rising. Lasted about a week on the nose.

Frustrated
2 weeks post op. Start at 341, surgery at 323 and currently at 310. Lost a ton of weight pre op and week 1 but since I went from liquids to soft solids, I have stalled or gain .2-.4 a day. I'm getting ~500 cals which the nutritionist recommends for this phase. Not cheating at all or eating between meals. Also nothing is high sodium in my diet. Anyone else experience this? When did the stall break and did you do anything special? Just frustrating to work so hard and see no progress right out of the gate.
