  4. Thank you! My NUT said I could try them out. We'll know when my first labs come back. She also said that me trying them for 2-3 months wasn't going to be bad for me. Can't wait to see if they work for me!
  5. These patches include everything you required to take.
  6. I'm seven days out! I would think the proof that they work would be in your lab work!
  7. Sorry, I meant to say it's Multi Vitamin Patch not just vitamin A.
  8. I have a very hard time getting my vitamins down, I'm talking getting stuck and throwing up. I can't do chewables either. I've ordered vitamin patches from patch md. According to the label, you'll get all the vitamin a you're required to get after being sleeved through a patch. Has anyone else tried the vitamin patch and if so how was your lab work?
  9. I have IBS and so far only two bowel movements. I am five days post op now! So far none of the hard cramping that I have with IBS.

  15. I'm having my sleeve this Tuesday and I finally told the one sister who I know would be very against it. I said I want to tell you about something that I'm doing next week. I told her I was having gastric sleeve surgery. In her loud accusatory voice she said why are you going to do that. In a louder authoritative voice I told her because I was tired of feeling like crap, because of my sleep apnea, blood pressure and feet! She backed down real quick! She then said, well she wouldn't want to get that skinny, to which I replied I'm doing it for my health not for looks and that's the truth! She was fine after that! Be firm with these nay sayers and they'll back down, or they should...lol! Good luck!

  19. 7 days prior to surgery full liquids then 2 days prior clear liquids. I'm on day 2!
  20. I found some unflavored protein powder online at piping rock. Reviews said it was good, I've ordered it already!
  21. I'm 52 and having my sleeve on Jan 26th. I'm about 205 now and highest weight was 212 and I'm only 5'2. I'm so close to backing out. I'm so scared of afterward and not getting enough Protein and becoming protein deficient. I'm also very nervous about getting sick and throwing up and just general nausea some experience after surgery. I also have IBSC and am wondering how that's going to go now. Then I think about how out of breath I seem to be by just taking a shower. I've only told my kids, husband and three close friends(2 of which have been showed)about the surgery. I don't want to hear all the negative comments. I haven't even told my sister's and probably won't until it's over and done with.
