It's official. My preferred Dr has approved my application. EEEEEK!! Now I need to pick some dates and I'm having a bit of a freak out. *breathe, breathe*

Where I live it's a 10 year wait. No joke. So needless to say I'm headed to Mexico!!

Which clinic is that? The one I am using is 1 night in MX, 2 nights in hospital and then another night in MX before going back across the boarder.

What Doctor are you going to? I'm wanting to go to TJ as well! I'm very curious as to your doctor because I'm still so new! Any info on Mexico WLS would be so helpful! There is tons of great info in the Mexico Self Payers area

Whew! I'm so glad you found another option! Can I ask what the original clinic was?

Considering in weight a LOT, in sure people will figure it out when the weight starts dropping quite fast. However, I have told no one except my husband and don't plan to tell anyone else either. If it comes up, I'll assess who it is and how I feel on that moment. It won't stay a secret forever, but right now this is my journey and I don't want it in the open.

I am hoping for a March surgery date and don't presently have any tattoos...but for years I have been planning to get one when I take a vacation in a few weeks. Is this a bad idea? I really want a specific tattoo from a specific place (where I'm going on vacation soon)... It will be quite a small tattoo and it will be on my wrist. Is this a bad idea??

I don't think so. I purposely went with a generic name as to not identify myself for that very reason. I'm not trying to do anything off side, I just want to be able to speak freely about my experiences with people who have been through it!

This is such an odd post to stumble upon because an hour ago I just ordered a new scale off Amazon LOL I wish I had seen this before I placed my order so that I could have looked into the ones that everyone has shared! Darn it! haha

Great question, thanks for asking! I am B12 deficient and anemic so I'm worried about how this will impact me after surgery as I already take quite a bit of both just trying to get my levels up
