  1. I think I'm doing that too, LOL. Today I weighed 242 but I am 5'6"- 5'7". I do have serious knee, hip and back pain. I think I have sleep apnea too because sometimes my husband wakes me because he says it sounds like I'm going to choke and I'm sleepy ALL DAY long everyday so I know I'm not getting a good night rest. I also have BC/BS federal Basic. Wish me luck.
  2. Hi, I also have BCBS federal and also will be getting my surgery in San Antonio, well that is if insurance approves it (pray for me). I have a seminar with Dr. Cavazos at NE Baptist in the morning but I noticed that Dr. Patel works at NE Baptist too????? I haven't heard of Innova. So do these Dr's work at different facilities???? So many Dr.s and clinics and hospitals.........UGH! I look forward to reading more of your upcoming posts.
  3. Has anyone used Dr. Cavazos at NE Baptist in San Antonio. I have a seminar with him tomorrow morning but haven't found anyone who actually used him and that makes me nervous. Also his website says he is a "fellowship-trained". I have no idea what that means but it also says he is the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at NE Baptist Hospital, I like how that sounds LOL. I hope someone can ease my mind about his and this hospital. I also saw that Dr. Patel, Duperier, Pilcher, and Dr. Stegemann are also at NE Baptist. I can tell it's going to me a long night of research for me.
  4. Hi. I'm new to this board too. My seminar is tomorrow and my first appointment with the Dr. and psych eval. is 2/8/07. I'm trying to get it pushed up (I'm a bit impatient). I wonder how long my insurance is going to take.
  5. Thats great! One step closer.
  6. I'm so confused as where I should go. I have no idea which Dr.s are in my network or not. I tried to look on BC/BS FEP web site and can't find none. I have a seminar on Sat at NE Baptist but I haven't seen anyone here use them and it worries me. Someone help please, lol. So far I have heard of True Results, NIX, and I have a seminar this Sat. at NE Baptist with Dr. Patel and Dr. Cavazos. I hope someone can lead me with their experience in the right direction. TIA

  11. Hi, I have my psych eval 2/8 and am wondering if I should get off my prozac before then. I suffer from depression but mostly because my weight. I'm really nervous about the psych eval. Any help, advice, hints, etc... would be greatly appreciated!

  14. HI, I'm really early in the game. I have my 1st appoint on Feb 8th. It will be with Dr and my psych eval. I go to my seminar this Saturday. I have had 4 C-section a tummy tuck with hernia repair but I was not half as scared for those operations as I am with this one. Maybe I;m getting ahead of myself I don't know if my insurance will even approve it. I am 5'6" and weigh (I think) 230 now. I hope I can meet some people here who are going through the same things during around the same time.
