Did anyone go through nesting before surgery? You would think I'm bringing a baby home. It's not even noon. I've washed clothes, cleaned bathrooms, cleaned the fridge, washed dishes, washed and deep conditioned my hair, finished prepping my mini fridge... About to mop and vaccum. So on my Quest to prepare for surgery on JUNE 1st I am getting a lot of conflicting information on Vitamins. I was just thinking this. I think the process is soo sensitive with the insurance I have my guard up. I cant really process this until I know its been done.

I am starting to feel a little weird. since I am in a lot of support groups on fb, here, and real self, I am in contact with a lot of people having surgery. I read their topics, follow their story etc. For the most part a lot of people seem to have a moment anxiety or "freaking out" as we like to call it. And since I am a complete baby about something as simple as a needle , I thought I would be a ball of raw nerves. But nothing...not scared , not anxious, not sad, not happy , not nothing I think the only word to describe my emotional state is "meh". Maybe because I have prepared for all the things that are in my control. And from reading and long hours of research I have a grasp on the things I cant control and I'm just ready for them to happen so I can get passed it. Or maybe because I know that my will power alone has not been the champion I need it to be and with out this restriction good health, and a "normal" bmi will never be achieved in my adult life? I guess its one of those when you want something bad enough you are willing to endure anything. If anyone was any input on this it would be greatly appreciated. I think I'm going crazy , because I'm not going crazy. Crazy right?

I think it helps that I'm at work from 8 to 5 then I'm at the gym from 5:30 to 7:30 I don't get home till after 8 and I'm pretty much Crash and Burn so I've kind of been on autopilot Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

after my last weigh before submitting to the insurance company I was at exactly 41.8 and was told to hold steady. I was approved with my only medical issue being my bmi. my pre op diet is she for breakfast and lunch sensible meal and 2 low fat high protein snacks. The goal is to stay above 40 until after surgery, sadly ive gained 2 lbs but im thinking its water weight sd june 1

That is frustrating , I know it seems like every since I got my surgery date I am walking on egg shells trying to make sure don't do or contract anything that will push me back. But you know murphy's law, so far I've been burned on my chest and face (small area) by hot grease, been bitten my a spider , and got a strange rash.....and still have to make it to June 1st in one piece. Does anyone have a bubble?

I did it was a "we will see and make adjustments if needed" type response. what I am really asking is for those who did have issues drinking shortly after , how hard was it to get down meds?

So yesterday was my last pre op visit. I was told to swing by my pharmacy and pick up these meds for after surgery. Carafate ,Protonix ,Reglan. As always I get home and look up the meds : * Carafate/Sucralfate is a medication primarily taken to treat active duodenal ulcers. Sucralfate is also used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and stress ulcers. * Protonix is used for short-term treatment of Water how realistic is it to think I can take these handful of pills all day while sipping 2 oz at a time? What blood thinner were you prescribed? Was your pain med liquid? Maybe those are given to me at discharge from the hospital pharmacy? any info is greatly appreciated

A good rule of thumb is look at your oop, that's normally the max you would pay. Unless the facility bills something that's "not covered".
