  1. @@jenn1 Thank you so much ! I did it today! I did it!! I'm so excited! It took me 30 minutes at the gym to get the courage up, but once I got on the treadmill I was determined. I warmed up for 5 minutes then ran 1 minute walked 1 1/2 minutes and so on for 25 minutes, and I didn't fall!! I even let go of the rail a few times. It felt great and I can't wait to do it again! Although my butt cheeks did feel like they were going to fall off, and I wondered what they looked like as I was running Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. When I started this journey I did 30 min elliptical everyday and 30 min weights 3x a week. Now I hike, take yoga, Pilates, power classes, dance and Zumba classes. I'm usually at the gym hour and half to two hours a day. I also walk walk walk I just make sure I keep moving, even with the desk job I have. I am soon to start running (huge fear of mine) because I want to run in my first marathon in 2017! Just try different things and hopefully you will find something you really enjoy . I don't trust my body either, I keep telling myself my knee is going to give out, ugh, I'm getting on that treadmill tonight starting walk 1 minute, jog 1 minute, walk 1 minute, run 1 minutes and so on for 30 minutes, hoping this will eliminate my fear after this . 8. I started with the flex. It was under $100 on Amazon. It has steps, weight, exercise, sleep , and tracks food and calories. It's not a watch. I set reminders every 2 hours in which it vibrates to remind me to move Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Now that I am at goal, I want to challenge myself more. I work out every day. 3 days a week I weight lift, everyday walk, bike or elliptical. I also do yoga and Zumba at least once a week. I would like to start running or at least jogging. I've always been scared and paranoid that my knees will give out and I'll fall. I haven't ran since I was a teenager in gym class, I'm now 53. Any suggestions on how to start and get over my paranoia of falling? I really would like to eventually run in a marathon at least once in my lifetime. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. I agree with djmohr, add more Protein, I take in at least 100g especially on strength training days. I've noticed the more weight I add the stronger I get too, I push myself to the limit till I just can't do one more rep. You'll get there too, it takes time to get your strength back. 16. We also live in an old farmhouse, it's 103 years old and we just got done renovation a year ago, now we are working on the out buildings. This year my boyfriend shot his buck from the front porch in his pjs and slippers. The summer sausage is to die for! As for squirrel, it's nothing but a pesky rodent to me. I will pretty much try anything but not squirrel yuk! Does it taste like chicken? [emoji239][emoji883]
  17. I have the same problem on the weekends. During the week I eat at 8,10,12,2 &6. But on the weekend when I'm running around like a crazy person I tend to forget to eat! Before I know it it's late in the afternoon and I am very irritable [emoji16]. I now keep quest bars in my car, in my purse and in my gym bag
