when did you first try eggs?

I am one week out of surgery & regret it! But I also had a hiatal hernia repair & I have a lot of pain & can hardly get anything down! I now wish I would have tried harder to lose weight & exercise!!!! I'm so weak & feel like I'm starving to death! 14 lbs in one week but I'm miserable!!!! I keep praying that I will heal quickly from the 2-surgeries!!!!! Just being honest!

I had surgery Tues 12/29 & it's Sun & I can barely get anything down! One premier protein shake & sips of water! I'm miserable!!! I need to get more down but it's so hard!

Mine was on 12/29! And I've been feeling the same way! I can hardly get any fluids done without horrible stomach spasms & pain!!!!! I feel hungry & keep asking myself why I did this?!?!?! Im even dreaming of food!!!

Mrs. Santiago, I'm right with you! Had my surgery on 12/29 & I have so much pain! When I try to walk it feels like my stomach weighs 800lbs & I'm gonna rip the stitches open!?!?? I can barely get any fluid down & it's spasms so bad?!?!?? If I lose weight it's gonna be from starvation!!!!! I'm so frustrated!!!! ????

They kept me in the hospital 2-nights & I asked to come home today... So I'm finally home! But I still have lots of pain & what seems like painful spasms on & off?!?? I don't know if that's gas or something else! I still haven't been able to get much down because as soon as it hits my stomach it's painful! The smell of broth Makes me nauseated!!!! I'm hoping I can get down some protein shake tomorrow so I can start getting protein in! ???????????????????????? I hope you all are doing great! Blessings!!!

I'm glad you guys had good recoveries, mine has not gone so well!!! I haven't been able to get anything down & could not pee at first!!! After I take sips of water, it causes horrible spasms & pain in my stomach! The first night I kept dry heaving & thought I was gonna rip open my staples!!!!! I just wanna feel normal again!!!! They are giving me Zofran & Toradol around the clock! Prayers to all!

How long do you guys stay in hospital? I was told if all goes well just overnight!

Do any of you have to take anything the day before surgery???

Tiffie I have the same problem....a fatty liver & haven't been following the diet at all!!! . Do you guys have to do clear liquids for the next 2 days before surgery????

Yes!!!! I'm Dec 29th too!!!!! I'm excited but getting very nervous!!!
