  1. Awesome job, thenewksc!! I'm in awe.
  2. You're very welcome. In order for me to avoid the "I've gone cross-eyed" state of mind, I limit myself to threads that interest me.
  3. Yes, ma'am. http://www.nbcuniversalstore.com/detail.php?p=8950&pa=ang&gtse=goto&gtkw=I'm+not+your+bitch,+bitch!&CMP=KNC-paidkeywords&HBX_PK=I'm+not+your+bitch,+bitch!&HBX_OU=51
  4. *hugs* Thanks and right back at you, my friend.
  5. :biggrin1: Believe me, I need it. BTW, I love the quote from TOP CHEF. My favorite is "I'm not your bitch, bitch!" and I think I'm going to buy one of their t-shirts. Ok, after I've had my coffee, I'm going to ride my bike for 3 miles.
  6. Congrats and best of luck for a speedy recovery!
  7. Breakfast: 8 oz. protein shake made w/ skim milk Snack: 20 oz. iced latte made w/ whole milk & 3 Splenda Lunch: 1/4 c. chicken salad, 10 Tostitos scoops w/monterey jack queso dip Dinner: 5 charbroiled oysters, 2 bacon wrapped oysters, 1 medium blackened shrimp, 1 small bite of crab cake Dessert: 1/4 c. apple cobbler Total Calories: 1027 Total Fat: 53 grams - 47% Total Carbs: 72 grams - 28% Total Protein: 64 grams - 25%
  8. Ok, well I didn't do as much exercise today as I thought I would do. Unless, of course, you consider stuffing your face with charbroiled oysters and apple cobbler working out. Ugh...I do have somewhat of an excuse...I think. My friend Shonda is here visiting from Oregon and I'm kind of just taking things easy and treating myself to a few more things than usual. Once she's gone, I'll get back on track again. If I don't, I give telly permission to kick my ass!!
  9. Check out www.nutritiondata.com for fast food nutritional information. I didn't see a Subway wrap listed, but did find several others. For example, a Blimpie chicken caesar wrap has 650 calories, 35g fat, 56g carbs, and 25g of protein.
  10. I've only flown 1st Class once due to an employee discount. The coach seats differ from airline to airline but I was fine in all of them, even at 274 pounds and 5'6" tall. If you're concerned about the seatbelt fitting, you should quietly ask one of the flight attendants upon boarding for a seatbelt extension.
  11. I'm already banded (and originally from Oregon) so I have no need to go to Seattle or Tacoma. I did, however, want to let others in the Pacific Northwest know of self-pay prices similar to mine here in Louisiana.
  12. I haven't eaten anything from Subway since being banded. I have, however, eaten tortillas and haven't had trouble with them.
  13. Holy crap, that is funny!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanorexia
  14. Good for you, telly!! I too have to make up for what I didn't do yesterday but I'm planning on doing it later today.
  15. Congratulations on getting your first fill. More often than not, you will not have good restriction after getting your first fill. It may take until the 2nd or 3rd fill to find proper restriction. Plus, it has only been 2 days since you got your fill and it may take up to a few weeks to kick in. Please be patient and listen to your body. :second: Good luck!!

That's ok, sweetie. :second: Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we did start at around the same weight. I was 274 the day of surgery. I have been banded for exactly 8 months and 2 days. My weight loss has slowed the past month and a half but I'm hoping with my most recent fill this past Tuesday that it will kickstart it again. I'm actually back up to 200 but I refuse to change my ticker!! You're doing really well. Best of luck to you!!
  17. Actual exercise today: Walking around mall for 2.5 hours 250 crunches 300 leg lifts 100 toe raises

Hi :first:!! I'm watching it but no one has been booted off yet. I'll update accordingly. :second:
  21. $12,900 in Covington, Louisiana, which covers the following: - surgeon - 23-hour hospital stay - anesthesiologist - 1 year follow-up care/fills www.whyweight.com
  22. I lie down when I do my leg lifts. This is the order that I do them: 1) I lie on my side and lift up 2) move to my hands and knees and then lift from the back 3) lie sort of on my butt/side and lift up the inner thigh 4) lie on my back and lift from the floor up 5) back to the side and lift up I do this 50 times for each leg, which adds up to 500 total.
  23. Tricia K. replied to paula's topic in The Lounge
    I concur.
  24. Ha ha....pretty soon you'll be right up there with me!! Can you imagine what he'll be doing then? :biggrin1:
