  1. could it be the stitches pulling...? where is the pain located? less than 2 weeks post op for me I got a bad case of bronchitis and was hacking coughing one night (I didn't have any cough syrup ) and for the next 2 weeks I was in soooo much pain! dr said it was because of the stitches
  2. no do not cut out your proteins! you were just pumped up with gas, meds, and IV. you are still bloated. drink your liquids and protein and relax!
  3. I was like you. I had absolutely no problems drinking. it's just liquid, it goes straight through us. be careful with gulping, though. just keep doing what you're doing and get in all of your liquids! congrats on a successful surgery. it is such a blessing
  4. drink more. try to eat every 2-3 hrs
  5. I had insomnia when I was doing a low carb diet in the past had tons of energy!!!
  6. vanilla premier protein with added milk?? fair life milk.
  7. anything that can be blended. (baby food consistency )

  13. yep sounds like you are doing too much and pulled the muscle that's been stitched. I was up coughing last week and that bothered my sites. I rested all weekend and finally am able to move around a little bit. rest!! do not do anything

  15. yes I have talked with them. they are not concerned and said its probably the stitch.also went to my regular dr for my cough and she gave me medicine for bronchitis and examined my belly and said she didn't feel like any of the incision areas opened (hernia)
  16. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and I was doing wonderfully until I got a cough Tuesday night. I was up hacking all night. well, since then I've been suffering from the pain of the stitches on my left side. no amount of Tylenol or pain meds will help it. I only feel fine when I'm not moving. when will it go away??

  19. itching is normal. means your incisions are trying to heal. I rub lotion around my sites
  20. I puréed some chili and ate 2 oz. it took me a while. like 40 mins. I was really just licking the spoon. it wasn't good at all and maybe that's why too lol. thanks everyone for your comments!!
  21. how long does it take you to eat a meal? today is my first day on puréed food
