  1. That's amazing. You are a rockstar.
  2. Honestly it does go fast I was so bummed when I heard I had to do the 6 month weight but meeting with a nutritionist really helped me and I feel I've developed better habits now that will help me in the future. Try to look on the bright side I do. Good luck and hang in there
  3. Thank you so much for the encouraging words. Healing I'd my biggest worry I will admit, but it is very helpful hearing everyone's stories. I had no idea there was a community like this until I happen to meet another sleeve going on 2 years who introduced me. I love it. Any advice I will surely take. Hydrating is my biggest issue I think as I have to force my self to drink it. But I'll do what I must. Congrats on your surgery and look forward to hearing from you soon.
  4. It sucks. And glad to know that others are struggling as well. Like all of you I worry the pre op liquid diet isn't going as it should and glad to know I'm not alone with this struggle. My appointment is on the 17th.
  5. Sleeve on the 17th of November. Super excited... but also super nervous. Glad to see all of you and look forward to getting to know all of you.
  6. I was denied the first time by insurance and was told to meet with both my doctor and a nutritionist for 6 consecutive months even though I've delt with my weight issues for 6 years. I have had my thyroid removed as it was a reason for not becoming pregnant. So your story was very closely related to mine. Just hang in there. My surgery is in 6 days as I finished my 6 months in October. You can do it.
  7. Looking great. Keep up the good work. Mine is in 6 days..nervous but excited.
  8. I will be having mine on the 17th, and like you excited but super nervous. Hoping for the best... it'll go great for you.
  9. Just checking in to see how you are doing!
  10. As would i!! Thank you for these questions
  11. This gives me super hope... I had asked my doctor the 'what if' question about what if it did happen before then and she simply said "then good for you." I know there are risks to it happening sooner then later. I'd like to continue to hear about your story and prayers to you and your struggles.
  12. Thank you. I'm very hopeful.and excited.
  13. Hello November sleevers. I'm having my surgery on the 17th of Nov. Super excited but also super nervous. Just looking for tips from those who have had it already this month and those who like me are nervous about there up coming appointment. Look forward to hearing from you all.
  14. Hello, I have my surgery one week from today. The reason I have decided to go ahead with a weight loss surgery is because for 8 years my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I have seen over 4 different doctors and I continued to hear the same answer. You need to lose weight.im not sure if this is the group I should be in as I haven't been pregnant nor had the surgery yet but it is because of the fact I wish to try after my procedure that I felt maybe this is the right group for me. I have loads of questions that,I'm hoping are relatable to what, this group is about. I look forward to hearing from you all thank you.
