  1. I am getting the flu or a cold. Is it ok to crush cold medicine?
  2. The premier protein bars are extremely good. They almost taste like candy. So far the quest bars are just ok. Trying to find the best one with high protein, low fat and low carbs. It is equally important that It agrees with my system.
  3. Ok, so it sounds like quest bars are the best protein bar. Good to know, thank you 'daisee68'
  4. Has anyone tried premier protein's protein bars?
  5. Can 242..... Thanks! That is supposed to say cw ... Lol
  6. I was sleeved November 16th. Surgery weight 272, current weight 240. I am not getting enough water or protein. I wonder would I lose more weight if I was able to get more protein in? I also have not started exercising yet.... Plan on joining gym before end of week.
  7. Goal weight 215 Starting weight 240
  8. For those who are able to stick to the plan/food intake goals, what are you eating? What did you eat today? What is your menu on a typical day? I am not getting enough protein, and I feel like I am getting too many carbs. Looking for ideas and suggestions- thank you.
  9. Hi Sarah, thank you. I am in. My goal is 215!
  10. Thank you for posting this. I sympathize with you. I have a sister who has been off her meds for more than 10 years. Currently she is functioning but she is in complete denial and refuses help. Her mood swings are horrendous. In the past I felt like a prisoner and eating was my only comfort. I am 6 weeks post-op and it is definitely a struggle, realizing it is their sickness not yours. We have a right to a beautiful, rich and rewarding life, even if someone close to us is sick.
  11. How do I view the spreadsheet? Congratulations on the baby!
  12. @@dsheive I started at the exact same weight... Wow congratulations on getting to 202. I am one month out, so far I have lost 21 lbs, I cannot wait to get to 200.
  13. I had the VGS on Nov 16th and I have had no complications, thank God. It has been easier than I thought it would be. So far i have not thrown up or anything. So far I have lost 22 pounds. I am very happy with my decision to have this done, it was the right choice for me. I am looking forward to the coming year, being healthier, more active, and more confident.
  14. I am considering the same. I drank coffee all day at work. I have become so accustomed to having a cup on my desk. If I were going to stop, this would be the time... I am undecided.
  15. Good question. And how are we replacing the cream and sugar?
  16. @-Kate- how do you make your protein latte? And how long after surgery did you start drinking coffee.
