  3. When your clothes are falling rather than you falling out of them...
  4. Thanks! Today I weighed in at 237, HW 245, G 145-140
  5. Belize that truly is awesome! Here I go off to start day 3 of pre-op...so far, down 8lbs since Sunday! Friday will be here before you know it.
  6. Wow! Richeycop, you have a lot going on with the children. I have 3, a son 13, nephew 14, and daughter 10. Just an update on this pre-op. I am doing well. Two days so far-I tell you I really feel like the weirdest person in the world to like the sounds my belly makes when it it hungry. Just three more days and a wake up and us 11/13ers will be on the other side of the sleeve. The thought of this and the sounds of my belly, help me to get through. The headaches are there but not until evening and I just go to sleep. How is everyone else doing?
  7. OMG! I was just thinking about this as I laid on my side hugging my pillow last night. My surgery is Friday and I kept waking up with the thought of how long it would be. Love the suggestions!
  8. CW: 240 First time? Pregnancy with my daughter 10 years ago. Note she was nearly 10lbs Last time? Today I declare, I will not see these numbers or anything above it. Of course, have not had my surgery yet-Friday is the big day!
  9. Click on the person's profile. At the top right portion of the screen it will say add friend.
  10. Hello, I will be sleeved on 13 November; I am definitely looking forward to joining the sleeved side. I live in Texas.
  11. txgirl27, the fact that you are saying this out loud to others speaks very highly of your character. You have acknowledged the mistake and now it is time to move on from there. Of course, in a couple of days after this pre-op kicks in full gear, remind me that I said that .
  12. Premier Protein has one that is 30g of protein. I use the chocolate and vanilla, but there is other flavors. they come drink ready and are sold at Sams, costco, and a few other places I am not sure. I put mine over ice in a glass, and my child tried to sneak a drink and asked where I was hiding the chocolate milk. I had to make an announcement to not drink my protein it is all I have; of course the Jello announcement shortly followed, and I ended up just making regular jello for them.
  13. I too wondered about this issue, specifically since I will be traveling alone, and I live in a two story house. Then a light bulb went off. If I am supposed be walking, I could just unpack from the car, taking out just s few things at a time. So for me that is my plan. I live in Texas, and most times there is a gentleman around who will assist with the carousel and the overhead bin. Mia
  14. Sam that is great! We shall keep in touch since we are all on this journey together.
  15. I decided to go alone, as many who have it done in Mexico do. The plan is for the turn around to be 5 days; go there spend the night in a hotel, have testing and surgery the next day. Over night at the hospital, and 2 nights and a wake up in the hotel before flying back home. Thanks, best wished to you. I look forward to this journey with you. I will update on how I am feeling once I start the pre-op. : )
  16. I am having my surgery in Mexico, and will be traveling from Texas to San Diego by plane.
  17. I already had the bouillon cubes and other items on hand. Things like hebiclens (skin cleanser), gas-x strips, heating pad, etc. I picked up already as well.
  18. Ritcheycop, I am nervous but just to be on the other side. I have done the being large for long enough. Because I am traveling for my surgery, I have been preparing this past week with the essentials I need to take and for sure what I need for post op. I went to the Costco and bought the heavy items, broth, protein, vitamins. Things I won't be cleared to carry until much later. And of course loaded up on sugar jello. I figured for the perishables I would wait right until the day before I leave. As for the diet, I start in the morning. I am on a five day pre-op. But I do notice that over the past few days I have been eating less and less and letting my stomach get to the point where it makes noise; it may be weird but it makes me feel good.
  19. Getting sleeved 11/13 in Mexico! Can't wait. I am on a 5 day pre-op starting tomorrow
