Thanks for all the encouragement, it really helps....????????

  12. I'm currently 3 1/2 weeks post op. I weighed last Friday and was down 32 pounds. I have been walking and started a boot camp class 30 minutes every MWF. I weighed today and was a pound heavier. Please help. What is going on??? I need answers. I started crying I was so upset. How can you gain weight when you can't even eat....
  13. That's amazing. Keep it up. We got this....
  14. Sounds like you are. Keep up the good work. So glad I have people to talk about my journey with.
  15. They have a almost tasteless protein that you can mix in anything. I can't recall the name just yet, but I'll post it later. I had some fairlife milk with sugar free syrup and it didn't agree with me. My NUT just told me in our software foods class that reaching out minimum protein and fluids are a goal and not something they expect us to achieve so early. I get around 60 grams a day now, but that just started a few days ago. Keep pushing you can do it. Congratulations on your procedure and thanks for the hubby response.????
  16. Can't wait to check it out... Good luck.
  17. Hi all, Brooke here...I had my procedure on 10/13. My HW was 366. On surgery day 351. As of 10/30 330 pounds...Really hoping to lose 30 more by Christmas. My goal for myself...I have had a few episodes of dumping and now I'm terrified to eat anything but Protein Shakes. I feel fantastic, except for the occasional gas pains. I started walking about 1 mile a day and I get about 6000 steps in a day. So far I'm pleased with my loss, but my hubby has yet to say he can see the difference. Anyone else having that problem? ??
  18. Hi all, Had my procedure on 10/13/15. HW-366 SW-351 Almost 3 weeks post op 331. Im so happy I did this also. I feel so much better already. I can walk miles a day. The feeling is so good. I'm reaching for a goal of 200 pounds. If I get there I'm satisfied. Hard time getting my protein and fluids, but getting better every day. By the way, from Burlington, North Carolina.
  19. My Dr was not very comforting. He is not really nice, but I got what I needed from him so he can kick rocks... Congrats on your loss, keep it up..
  20. I chose bypass because I need to lose about 200 pounds and most of the people I have spoke with have only lost about half of my number and stalled for months.
  21. I can't handle it. Made chocolate milk with fairlife and sugar free syrup and within 10 minutes I was gagging and running to the restroom. I could be my body wasn't ready for it, I'm only 2 weeks out today.
  22. Dr.Bruce from the same practice preformed my procedure on 10/13. I do agree with the previous post. Be prepared too wait.
  23. That's standard with most surgeons. Whose your surgeon? Dr. Jon Bruce our if Caryville performed mine at Alamance.
