Good Luck ! Mine was submitted last Thursday and I still have not heard back. I too had a year of missing doctors too for some reason! My BMI is 41.3 and have severe sleep apnea. Hope you have news soon!

Have you asked your MD if he can check your blood work to see if you're anemic?

Curious if anyone on here has used BCBS AL and if so how long does the approval process take? My doctors office submitted my paper work Thursday of last week. The suspense is killing me. I'm 5'1 weight 221, 1 co morbidity of severe sleep apnea, BMI 41.3. Just ready to do this after waiting 6 months!

They don't consider Sleep apnea as a co morbidity? Praying you have positive outcome! Good Luck

I have BCBS AL , my BMI is 41.8 , and I have severe Sleep Apnea. I have completed my 6 months and all the other doctors visits, along w/ my PCP letter . They submitted my paper work last Thursday. I'm really nervous they wont accept it and all this time and money is at a loss Anyone else out there have BCBS Al and the wait time for approval or denial?
