My doctor referred me around Feb 2015. I got my first orientation appt in August and my first one-on-one appt is booked for end of Oct. There are still a whole bunch more appointments to go. I'm hoping the whole thing might not take more than a year but I'm trying to find out more about the wait times as well. I know the gov't increased the budget in the last year or so, so I'm hoping it shouldn't be longer than that. Not a lot of updated data out there though.

Any updated info on doctors who do Gastric Sleeve in Toronto? I'm on the wait list for Gastric by-pass (the only one currently covered by OHIP), but I don't know if I want to wait another year...and I think I'd rather have the sleeve anyway. Anyone gone to any surgeons in Ontario? What's your experience been like?

Hi. How did it go with the doctor in Montreal? Would you recommend? Do they offer a good follow up program?
