I read about lots of surgeries all over the world but don't see any sleeve surgeries in Ontario. I'm having surgery June 8th in Toronto and am wondering if anyone else on this forum has had surgery in Toronto and what their experience has been like?

I am from Nova Scotia and will be having my surgery September 8th, 2015 in Toronto with Dr. Orzech I am having a gastric sleeve done.

I had my surgery with Dr Orzech as well. Everything went great and they are a great group of people to work with. I only had a bit of gas pain but walking helped a lot. I only took pain mess the first night home to help sleep. You are in good hands.

@@heather01 I am in NS now, and have to start my journey all over again. I am wondering how you got a surgeon in ON to perform your surgery. Did your family physician refer you, and is MSI covering the cost of it in ON?

Anyone have any other surgeons they've used in Toronto? What's your experience been like?

I had Dr. Coburne him and his staff were amazing.
