  1. I went to get a fill on Dec.11 ever since then I have felt sort of nauseated and bloated and small amount of pain in tummy. I haven't had any trouble with liquids or eating. (I have been careful since the fill, having just liquids and then soft food and eating slow). I have not thrown up. I just feel yukky. Will this pass? Anyone else have this?
  2. After my surgery in March 08, I ate cottage cheeze everyday, I'm not sure why I stopped. Maybe I got bored with it. Thanks for all the ideas everyone. Im going to start eating it again with some of your great ideas
  3. I tried alot of chili during my mushie stage and I have to say Wendy's was the best tasting. Hmmm that sounds good right now!!!!
  4. I have read alot on here and I have never heard of this body scan thing, but every surgeon is different for sure. The only tests my doc made me have is blood tests. good luck with your journey!!
  5. HI, I was banded on March 24 and am eating 2oz per meal. When does it change to 4 oz?
  6. Tracy, you will be fine. I didn't have a pain ball, Ive never heard of it actually. I took percacets for 3 days I don't think they helped at all. Thats when most of my pain was, is in the first 3 days. My lungs hurt so bad I could take a deep breath. Im out 10 days now and the thing that is bothering me the most is the places on my tummy where the tape was and incisions are. Stinging itching and burning. Wish that would stop anyway congrats on your surgery.
  7. Wow!!!! Kayla you just made my day! You look great! I was just banded monday and I am looking forward to better heath and looking better. What do you find has been your biggest challenge?

Wow that is a high enrollment fee. My doctor charges $500. above and beyond. Its for the aftercare I guess. The stuff that is considered non doc appt and non surgery. The stuff that insurance wont pay for, so they charge you. My total out of pocket is going to be $1135. Have you checked around with other doctors? Have you checked to see if your insurance pays for fills?
  9. Finallyfree-Hi I have a question... are you treated differently now at work since you have lost weight?
  10. Hi Finallyfree, I went to my seminar last nite (jan 22) Ive been doing alot of research so I already knew everything they were saying. I got my papers and am trying to fill them out right now. I think this is going to be the toughest part lol. I read on one of your posts that you had to pay $175 that you werent expecting. Did you use their psychologist? I sortof expected to be told how much out of pocket I would have to pay. But I guess it doesnt really matter....
  11. Ive read a few times on here that bcbs federal only pays for fills for a year. Gosh I hope thats not true. It could get rather expensive. does anyone know what the copay is for a fill? I know everyone is different but how often do you have to have a fill after the first year?
  12. mind if I ask why you chose Dr Simper?
  13. Here's a good one right off the top of my head... to be able to sit in a booth in a restaurant without your tummy touching the table, also looking at the table before you sit down to judge if you will fit.
  14. Look in the Insurance forum there is a post there about basic option
  15. I had not thought of that forgve. That doesnt seem right does it. I will ask Dr office about it. thanks for your reply.
