Any June sleevers out there?
@NewBegining2016 I'm sorry I haven't been on here in a few weeks. I returned to work and boy--did I work! I hope you found the milk. I got mine at a local grocery store, but I did see it at Wal-Mart as well! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Issues with Co workers after my surgery
I am returning to work on 6/27--Monday. I work at a skilled nursing/retirement community. I have co-workers who have had WLS. My direct supervisor is the one who has given me grief about my surgery. She controls it all. I am worried about this same type of retaliation. I had another nurse ask me why I would have this surgery if I could lose on the pre-op diet. I explained to her I can only lose so much on my own and then I re-gain. The worst comment--"I hope you are gonna stick to this since you are going to so much trouble!" Crazy. People feel very free to comment. I paid for the surgery-and I didn't make the decision lightly. 10 years I contemplated about this life change. I'm so glad I finally made the choice. Good luck to all! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Issues with Co workers after my surgery
Sad, but I have this reaction from some co workers as well. I view it as a life saving/changing decision as well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Any June sleevers out there?
3 weeks on tomorrow. Went for my follow up appointment today. Moved to the soft foods stage. I, too am now worried a bit about bad habits. I have been very much to the rules, so I know I just need to stick to the plan. If you haven't tried the fat free Fairlife Milk--it is so good. 13 grams of protein per serving. Really good. Hospital Stay?
I'm two weeks out today. I stayed two nights. I had severe nausea and vomiting. Pain wasn't controlled well by the meds. Normally it is a one night stay with my surgeon. I had VSG. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Any June sleevers out there?
Interesting to read other people's experience this far. I am 11 days out. I can have puréed food for the next two weeks. I have been eating baby food. I know it sounds strange--but I really like it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

4 days post op...
@@Km77942009 I can only speak about my own experience. I am not having any hunger pains. I do feel very weak at times. Just keep up with your ounces of liquid and Protein intake and try to follow your surgeon's directions. Hope it eases soon! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Struggling to get in half of my protein and fluids.
3 days post op and am really having a difficult time with my intake. I feel so full. Trying to down an ounce every fifteen minutes. Beginning to wonder if I was crazy doing this surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

48 hours afterwards. Was it a mistake?
I feel the same way! I am 2 days post op. I had a very hard time of it at the hospital. Had to stay another night. Pain meds made me vomit. I am trying to figure out my schedule as well! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
