  1. I was stunned to hear so many mentioning that they were on a pre-op diet. My dr and nutritionist never mentioned that to me at all.
  2. Thanks for the information. I was starting to think I might have pulled something by doing too much too fast.
  3. My sleeve was done Aug. 18 and I am 20 lbs down. I have been at a stall all of this week, but still hanging in there. I am on soft foods now - mushy soups, cottage cheese, string cheese, canned tuna. I feel great and can see a difference already. It is hard to get in all the protein for me. All of my incisions have healed nicely, but I still have internal soreness around the larger incision when I bend down. Anyone else have this?
  4. Week before 8/18 surgery, At end of 1 week and End of Week 2
  5. I just hit 3 weeks on Tuesday of this week an am eating soft foods. I also am not a fan of the sweet drinks and have done well with mushy soups (bean soup that is mashed) and cottage cheese and canned tuna (about 2 spoons of each mixed) I know it sounds gross but so much better than the sweet stuff! I have lost 15 lbs, but have hit one of those stalls this week.
  6. I freeze my chocolate protein drink in mine and voila! Fudgesicles! The first time I did not add anything more than the drink. I might try a little sweetener next time, as they were not as sweet as the real thing.
  7. I use Spark and it is great! Tracks all nutrients including protein. Tracks weight, water and more. Great data base for foods with bar cod scanner for adding new foods.
