  8. I am 7 weeks post op and I am still freezing all the time. I was just like you and was always the hot one, always had my fan blowing on me at work. Now I have my heater blowing on me. It's crazy the difference!
  9. I should add that my husband who is also my best friend is also a big support! We are doing this together as he was sleeved just 2 1/2 weeks before me. He has been the best. Walking and exercising with me. We've done new thing together like going on a hike too. We eat basically the same foods and he does 99% of the cooking for us. I couldn't do this without @@Fatty McFatster !!!!!
  10. It seems every day people are commenting on how different I am looking in a positive way. I am getting comments like "You are looking so good!" "Wow, you're getting so skinny!", and my fave "You are doing such a great job. I am proud of you!" Hearing these things really helps keep me motivated! Sometimes it is hard to see the change in ourselves so it really confirms that I made the right choice when someone lets you know. ???? What has someone told you about the new you that makes you feel good?
  11. This is horrible. I will be praying for you!!!!! And remember that we on here love you no matter what!!!!!!! ❤️❤️

  15. 6 weeks out today and it is slowing for me too. Going to increase my workouts this week.
  16. A new one for me. I was walking toward my husband at Walmart this weekend and he didn't recognize me from a distance. Said he was looking for someone bigger. He said I look like a different, skinnier person. ????. That was a compliment for me!!!
  17. Thanks and I agree! Everyone has done great!
  18. Well, for someone to notice that are you "skinny" is amazing! You might have gained it back before as a lot of us have, but I am sure with this tool you are going to stay skinny! Be proud of yourself. I sure am. I am not use to people saying that I am looking great! Keep up the great work!!
  19. I know how great that feels. Now say "I will never be there again" That is what I said, and I plan to keep that promise to myself. I am VERY proud of you! I know how hard you have worked. You inspire me every day!!
  20. Great Job! That is just awesome. Stairs are always hard. I haven't started going up any yet. Just down. Good for you!!
