  2. I love Mexican food.... And I am 6 weeks out of sleeve surgery. Soft foods are going very well and I am ready for some Mexican food. Can I have tortillas and chips with queso?
  3. That's what I figured. I really think my stomach just didn't like the cream soup I made yesterday. Thanks for the reply.
  4. I am a week after surgery tomorrow and my nausea today has been almost as bad as the first day. Have not had any trouble until today. Wondering if I ate too much Protein? I drink plenty of Water, and try to get 60g of protein a day. Is that too much this early? Or maybe I just ate something my new stomach doesn't like? Trying to figure it out, don't like taking steps backwards:(
  5. I am 5 days after being sleeved, only took 1 dose of pain medicine today and I am doing really well. Would like to drive to the store tomorrow to get some more variety of cream soups:-) is that a good idea yet?
  6. Mine was quick...Doctor said because I did so good with pre-op my surgery was only 30 minutes compared to the usual 90 minutes. That was 2 days ago. Doing great!!

  9. I know this is probably somewhere but I can't find it. So here it goes again.. Is there a magic list of what to take to the hospital? And also what necessities should I have at home so I don't have to go the store when I get home? Surgery is Wednesday and I want to have everything ready:-)
  10. You all look fantastic! Hopefully the same will happen for me. Thanks for sharing it is very encouraging!!
  11. Good luck!!! Keep us posted.
  12. It's ok segula613 it will happen. I have a good friend as a coach and a husband who won't let me quit I probably would not have done that without them. The last month waiting on insurance was HARD I went up 3 lbs during that time. This whole Process is such a head game. Once surgery was scheduled my brain relaxed and I am back down again this time to stay! Find a support person and tell them to keep going even if you want to quit. My husband is amazing! Slapped me back to reality when I got down. Can't wait for 11/25
  13. That's awesome! I have lost almost 40. My doctor doesn't require liquid diet I have been told. I will know more Monday. I havent heard of any other Doctor not requiring that so I am starting it on my own just to be extra cautious.
  14. I have been on 1100 calories for 4 months. Monday I go for the next stage of prep work with Doctor. How about you?
  15. I actually chose the date. My son graduates from college on December 18 in Nashville. Was not taking any chances! It's worth it:-)
  16. I'm scheduled for November 25 in Texas. Would love to know of anyone else in this area. Nerves are starting but I am so excited to get this done. Good luck everyone!
