  1. Iam..hope you are doing well after surgery!!! My biggest bit of advice right now is, walk. I was walking a lot when I got home. Getting the liquids was hard but give it a good try. I take flintstone complete kids chewables and a genetic calcium chew. After about 6 wks I have added in b12 sublingual drops. The food is better. I try to eat Soup whenever possible and purée whatever I fix for dinner for the family. I am so ready for soft foods and real food!!!!! I went back to work after 3 weeks. I work in a hospital and the demand is high. I am so glad I had the surgery!!!!! I'm 25 lbs down and feel great!!!! I haven't had any reflux since surgery and I am so happy!!! Good luck on your journey and keep me posted!!! Loulou
  2. We will have to keep in touch and share our progress. Good luck to u!!!
  3. Thank u!!! Good luck to you too!!! The band is terrible!!! Wish I would've done sleeve first but at the time it was the safest procedure to get pregnant with.
  4. I finally got my date!! January 11, 2016! It seems like I have been battling the band for so long. And in just a couple weeks I will be free!!! Free at last!!! I'm hoping and praying that everything goes ok and that the surgery will be a success. Super nervous but VERY VERY excited at the same time! I will accept any and all advice that yall can give me!! And if there are any January peeps out there that need a buddy Im available!! ))

  8. I know how u feel. I'm worried too! I had band in 2010 and then 2 kids 2 yrs apart. My reflux is terrible. I'm not sure if when I pushed during delivery that something slipped but I am in the process of having revision. I know that even though I LOVE food I will b able to control myself and eat in moderation as I'm supposed to and I will be exercising more and will enjoy my new lease on life!!!!!!
  9. Keep us posted on how everything goes!!! Good luck to u!!
  10. Congrats!!!! I'm half way through my process!!! Can't wait to get this band out and the reflex gone!!!! Congrats to you!!!
  11. Wow!!! Congrats!!!! That's a huge accomplishment!! Keep up the good work!

  17. When is your surgery?
  18. I have band and my reflux is terrible. It's mostly because the band has slipped. I'm nervous that when I have revision to sleeve that I will continue to have it. My surgeon assured me that since I didn't have it prior to the band that I should be ok. I'm still nervous though!!!

  20. Thanks!! Good luck to you too!!
  21. I'm a newbie to this site. I've posted 1 other comment. I have just started my journey to getting the band removed and the sleeve done. I'm super nervous and excited. I'm hoping to have the surgery the first or second week of dec depending on the insurance. I have band for 5 years. I lost about 80 lbs and got pregnant twice and regained and now I sit only 25 lbs loss. I have terrible reflux and after an EGD dr found band had slipped. That's my big reason for ins approval since they only cover 1 WLS. I'm so grateful to have found a site like this. Thank you all who have shared their experiences!!!!! Yall have made this roller coaster ride a whole lot easier!!!
