I had a hysterectomy...I take 850 grams of meteor in twice daily...zip have been there ...when zi was in my early forties ....its debilitating ...I take floradix iron with herbs and it helps...a drop in vitamins make it worse.hang in there.... Metformin 850 2x a day

Absolutely don't wait for him to "drop the ball"...because he is unhappy and so are you ...You have to be prepared and ready .Its been over and the "new you " deserves a better life and you will find someone who digs you. Get ready for the end of this...,new beginning...

I have lived with PCOS for years,hirutism,weight issues,heavy periods,insulin resistance, dysplasia...had to have a partial hysterectomy and metastatic breast cancer ....I am revising from a band to bypass...hoping to get a grip on this...

OMG.I am so sorry to hear this.There should be a class action lawsuit and a ban on the lap band procedure.I have so much damage and I am awaiting approval from the insurance company..In pain and I feel bilious because my port has flipped...I had a doctor that I saw in the same practice that was known as the "lapband Doctor ".No personality and a bad attitude when someone came in complaining and seeking a revision.He performed some sleeve procedures but was adamant that he performs the procedure 6 months apart.First removal then revision.I have had a DVT...not looking to have to separate procedures.I was originally going for a revision to a sleeve but my acid reflux is off the charts.This band has caused damage to my insides.Plus I developed breast cancer...hmmm....silicone in body...erosion... I changed to another doctor in the same practice....you could tell they know the band is faulty....you could see it when you discuss all your problems...they have heard it all many times before.If I don't get it out soon...I am in trouble I think you should seek a lawsuit!!!

Hi Mbrown, I have the band and I am as fat as ever.I can't have the sleeve because of the damage that was caused by the band.Torturous ephagus and severe Acid reflux,hiatal hernia,flipped port....The band has messed my stomach up.

Listen to your doctor.I had the option of lapband or bypass back in 2004.My doctor saw that I insisted on the less"invasive " surgery...I went with the lapband.BIGGEST MISTAKE!I have had nonstop problems...looking back I wish my doctor would have given me the advice ...now I am seeking a revision to bypass....Get the most effective surgery.My friend has the sleeve and she has malabsorption as well..vitamin up!!! Go with your doctors advice.

Yep...it will continue to cause issues...revision ... I have been dealing with it...it is not good at all.

@Pinkgirl1234 I know only Lahey Clinic sells it in MA in their pharmacy, not too sure if there are other vendors The product looks great.Will try but they may not sell it to me.

A 40 BMI is not low are you kidding.It is morbidly obese.I have A 38 by I.I am morbidly obese.Ser another surgeon.Get at least a second opinion.I have major damage due to the band...seeking a revision to bypass.Get a surgeon that is supportive.
