  1. I loved (isopure beverages)pre op...post op they tasted dreadful...ugh I have a whole case ...yuck I got them from the Vitamin Shoppe
  2. I asked the doctor he had no definitive answer other than it could be a side effect of anesthesia and morphine withdrawal....in other words...from the intravenous drug withdrawal from surgery.
  3. Its hard work and WLS isn't easy and you have to work hard to get the weight off.People think that WLS is performed and weight drops off magically....it's a commitment...and constant management.....patience...
  4. It's normal...I think it is trauma after the surgery...It will get better...everyday will get better...
  5. Mine lasted for a week.I was so upset because I wanted to take excedrine so bad....Tylenol was what I could take.,.In your case are you a caffeine/coffee drinker?If you are you could be experiencing caffeine withdrawal.
  6. I have all the best diet books...tried them all...now that I have the bypass I can give them away.Its a tool that helps me stick to eating healthy....
  7. I tried and tried and Everytime I tried the latest diet I lost then regained ...The lapband was a nightmare as well...my friends who had the sleeve or bypass years ago are all doing well.

  9. It is attacking me pretty hard.I am afraid to put a color rinse in my hair.I get enough protein.I take biotin and collagen...nothing is helping.It has become so thin and stringy.

Yes a decline on the scale I will take.My appetite has returned 4 month post op but I control it with small protein meals spaced out.I must incorporate the oatmeal at least 3x weekly or suffer crazy constipation.I have cut out sugar.The protein drinks have about 2 grams of sugar max.No fruits just vegetables and protein.I struggle with water intake.

  14. This is crazy!They refused to redo the test???As soon as this is cleared up...write the head of the hospital.They need to get their act together.

  16. My hair is ruined....it is shedding and thinning.I am 4 months post op and it is a daily battle.It is thin ,tangling,and just horrible.I am taking biotin and collagen and it is not helping.... I have to cut it.It is like threads hanging from my scalp.
  17. I bought Sketchers Metronome Relaxed fit.Wore it all winter.I Will find a new pair...they all have memory foam and are relaxed fit in many styles...heel pain is gone .It stabilizes your foot and they cushion with instep.Unbelievably comfortable.

  19. I am sick of the artificial drinks...I just ordered Tera whey...I will have to add added protein.I want to get rid of all those artificial ingredients.
