  2. Dec 28 2015.I had a revision from lapband to bypass with a hernia repaired .So it was more complex.
  3. Just ok This is a tough surgery but you can do it.You need to prepare. What procedure are you having?
  4. Reroute insides or 85% of stomach cut out....not trimmed.Cut out.
  5. I had my revision Dec 28 .I am still on full liquids.I suggest strained Soups.Applesauce at this point is a Nono.... Are you adding Protein powder to your drinks/shakes,cream of wheat? It is too early for you to be eating any solids..,be careful.
  6. It is sonne detoxifant.I am going to order some today.
  7. So me # 7 and # 9 is a detox that will clean out your system and flush parasites, wastes and fat out of your system and strengthen your liver. Google it. Sonne # 7 and #9
  8. My system was clean and I had no gas whatsoever...oh by the way I gave up caffeine the week prior to the pre op and had the worse headaches and body aches....I just quit it....best decision.
  9. I fast forwarded the back story you wrote.Instead I am focusing on your upcoming surgery...your "journey to a new you.".I never listen to people who say.."Oh your tall ...you can carry your weight"Nonsense. My pre op with my surgeon and nutritionist was different...it was soft foods ,no sugar no starch.I had cream of wheat very runny ,crime or puréed Soup,a premier Protein shake, and a protein with steamed or sautéed Water based vegetables for 2 weeks.2 days before surgery I started cleaning my system with Miralax and collace, and the day before full liquids...Clear Liquids.
  10. Be careful.I am nervous for you.Take care.
  11. Competence is attractive...Ingot no time for Doctor Worship.
  12. Hopefull the bypass will be a success.I am 3 weeks post op...still sore ,it's a slow process but everyday gets better...
  13. But right get now Premier protein shakes are the only one I can stomach.I add unjury to my strained soup or cream of wheat.
  14. I have muscle pain, stabs of pain, soreness around incisions and inside itchiness,my surgery was Dec 28...
  15. Revision from lapband to bypass Dec 28.A struggle...I am Still on full liquids...have not moved on for fear of pain and throwing up.I have assorted pains .Sticking and random shooting pains and slight aches.Inside itch and yeast overgrowth in my mouth.I was prescribed nystatin mouthwash and just had a cleaning.I have not started vigorously exercise yet...Walking is a challenge and I am still sore and energy less .As I type I am in bed with my electric heating pad..Getting enough water is a problem and I am drinking strained soups with Unjury added...not loving Unjury .it clumps.I definitely don't feel anywhere near 100%.I bought probiotics but have to mix caplets contents in Greek yogurt.I can't swallow pills.I ordered barimelts vitamins from Amazon. My incision areas hurt and I have scars.
  16. I am trying plant based protein powders
  17. What about guacamole ?
  18. Need more info.I revised from lapband to bypass. Why do you want to revise?
  19. Your thyroid may be an issue .Also a holistic dr prescribed Sonne # 7 and 9 detox.
  20. Your stomach does NOT remain whole. You have a little pouch that is made. The difference between GB and the sleeve is with GB they leave the remaining larger part of your stomach attached while with the sleeve it is removed(normally 85% is removed). I wouldn't want any newbies to miss understand what you are saying. Well said...people need to speak from their own experience...how could you poo poo bypass if you have chosen the sleeve.I have seen successes and failure across the board.
  21. Listen you really gotta do your research and make sure you pick the procedure that works best for you.Cut out 85% of your stomach or reroute your intestines. These are major operations and each have risks and limitations.Whichever you choose it is no joke.... Choose wisely
