  10. Thank you! I am worried though because I have seem to gain half a pound ever since I started eating. I only ingested less than 600 calories yesterday with all these foods. Does anyone know how many calories we should be eating in the "mushy" stage of our diet?

  13. I have lost almost 20 pounds since my surgery on July 28. I just started introducing soft mushy foods today and I was able to eat three meals: Half a cup of hummus, half a cup of lentil Soup, and an Asian broth with soft tofu. For a snack I had quarter cup of cottage cheese and I felt totally totally full all day long. You do have to eat very slowly. It's a nice change of pace considering I used to eat so so so so quickly. Looking forward to the days to come. Tomorrow I plan to go to Boston market to get mashed potatoes and creamed spinach.
  14. Checking in on you. Hope you are well.
  15. Are you feeling better?
  16. No I have no pain related to that. What did your doctor say? Hope you are feeling better!!!!
  17. At least 20 people have asked me if I'm pregnant. That was definitely a wake up call!
  18. My surgeon did not use a catheter. How is everyone feeling?
  19. I had a hiatal hernia repair too. I do feel better every day it seems. I walked a lot today. Thanks for all the advice. How are you feeling?
  20. Right now I am off my metformin and monitoring BSL twice a day. I had surgery on July 28th. I was told to call the doctor's office if it does above 200. My readings have been ranging from 109-154. This is because I am on clear post op liquid diet. I go to surgeon tomorrow and he will advise. Once I incorporate food, I imagine that I will have to add some Meds. Who knows??? ????????
