  2. Ty for responding but i know for sure that I do not have to go back to liquids..lol. I'm doing very well. I've never experienced nausea and have been able to keep everything done since surgery. I know it's a process with learning my sleeve & body's response. I just need to id this 1.Did you skip the purée food stage? Real food for me didn't happen until 6 weeks after surgery. When my NUT and Dr cleared me to do so after my 2nd post op visit. Next week makes 12 weeks and I'm down 81lbs so far. Every Dr & food stage is different. I did not have to go through a puree stage. I'm on a detail plan to reintroduce soft foods back in stages. I'm loosing weight. .so it's not stopping my progress.

  4. Ty..I'll make a call if it continues Soft foods. Oatmeal, Grits, Fish, Thin sliced deli meats, eggs etc.
  5. I was sleeved on 8/5/15. I'm on Stage 3 and I'm confused about if the feeling of constantly burping (very mild) and sometimes mild back pain followed by uneasy filling that the last bite did not go down. I chew my food to mush consistency and normally wait until the feeling go away or stop eating. I'm trying new foods so normally I'll end up eating 1 to 1/2oz each meal.
  6. It's definitely something in the shakes or powder that is causing it No, that's not the problem. I've tried from 1oz-8oz.
  7. The best advice I was given was to focus on the postive..all.postive thoughts, things & people. Address any concerns with your Dr. but every time you have a negative thought..immediately replace it with a positive 1. I made a daily affirmation & included the postive outcomes i wanted for Surgery & other life topics. .& i read it daily in the present/future tense
  8. Anyone or any New Sleevers having issues with protein powders or pre made shakes causing very bad bloating. I use both muscle milk products & I noticed the very bad bloating after I drunk 8oz of the mixed powder (w/water). The 1st thing I noticed my stomach was increasingly larger. I have not had any issues with gas or gas pain since my 2nd after surgery. .
  9. I'm looking for my surgery twin(s). I was sleeved on August 5 and was discharged home on Friday,8th.
