Hi, this might be a tmi post I'm currently taking bariatric advantage vitamins... A multivitamin, calcium citrate, b12 , and iron . I can smell them seeping thru my pores , thru my lady parts, and my urine anyone else experiencing this??? ... I want to change my vitamins once I run out . What are you taking ?

I told ppl I was having a hernia repaired explained and included where they would cut some of my stomach out and left it at that.

I'm struggling like no body's business. I haven't had any of my required amount of fluids. I'm 5 days post op and I just able to finish 1oz of my protein . Is there anyway for me to get my fluids down with out air getting in . That seem to be my biggest problem .

I'm 12/2 as well, moved up from 1/21. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda freaking out right now - it's less than 3 wks away and I just found out two days ago! I thought I had all this time to mentally prepare, and now it's right in front of me and I feel panicky and haven't slept since I found out. Trying to take deep breaths and just pray that the day comes and goes without a hitch. I'm right there with you all nervous ass hell for later today

No you aren't the only one . I don't get hungry . I actually get pretty productive with sativa and I like to use indicas to sleep at night .

I'm looking forward to being off of work during Dec as well. Glad I don't have to worry about all the potlucks... Have any of you decided when your last day of work will be ?

Go with the insurance and save the money for your plastics ... If your going to get them done . That's what I would do

Yea I'm done . I was thinking if and when I'm approved to schedule maybe 4 weeks out . Gives me time to detox

So I've been under a lot of stress lately . I'm waiting for my insurance approval. On Friday they I was told I will know by the end of business on Monday . My nerves have kicked in. So I had a cigarette or 10. I've searched high and low for this answer but I can't find it so maybe you all know. How long do I need to be nicotine green before surgery ? Thanks -Faith

I completely understand, I'm under the same stress I have 15 days to hear something . I completely understand stress is a beast ... So is doubt... I just keep wondering if I did everything right ... You aren't alone

Yea . Nothing that made me even remotely interested, all the videos I've watched and things I've read about certainly don't make it more appealing .

I am in Raleigh NC and I'm curious to know how many ppl are being seen here in NC maybe with Rex or Duke? I started with wakemed but they weren't approved by my ins so I'm now with Rex. I'm looking to have the sleeve but the dr suggested Ds and I'm not interested at all

Thanks for your replies . I called a different center of excellence this afternoon. The surgeon this morning was really discouraging. He told me my weight loss potential was only 100 lbs smh when I know 50-60% isn't 100lbs... Maybe he was thinking of the lap band .

Hello, I'm new to the community and was curious if any of you were above 350-380 and the DS recommended for you? I feel like he was looking toward something that was going to benefit his pockets instead of taking my concerns into consideration . I've researched quite a bit and been to several info sessions each of them tell me I can expect to lose between 50-60 % of my current body weight. He made it seem like I would only lose 50-60 lbs with the sleeve. I'm interested in knowing how much you all have lost since having the vgs. Thanks
