  1. It's been 6 months since my gastric bypass, and I'm still having trouble passing my protein shake, my stomach doesn't rejects meat and the protein bars I really don't know what else to do to get my protein level!!
  2. I'm on my 6 month of my post op and from 264 pounds I'm 161 lbs thank god!
  3. Omg! I tried holding my nose, I tried using it with fruits omg it's like my brain talks to my stomach and screams out shut down lol
  4. Omg I can't stand isopure cookies & cream and the chocolate one as well
  5. I have the best surgeon he has the best hands you don't feel anything at all! The next day I asked him are you sure you did my surgery lol

  8. @@TLW! My body can't smell the protein powder can I add protein shake instead?
  9. In the morning I sometimes eat Fat Free Yogurt or Greek yogurt, or papaya, egg white, oatmeal but sometimes I don't have an appetite cuz I get bored with da food, then I check the ingredients of the cereal I want and it has sugar I'm like smh! Help guys plz

  11. Brickhouse I was nervous as hell but I left my operation in gods hands and to tell u the truth everything went well! I didn't feel no pain I was wondering if my Dr really operated me I even asked him cuz he has good hands!
  12. Yea my husband took a week off to stay with me, it was a huge help because you know we can't do heavy lifting or certain things plus I didn't feel all that! Thank god for him.
  13. And I can only drink protein shakes that already prepared
  14. My problem is when I have the food in my mouth, my throat closes and I can't swallow the food even my stomach closes and I hate that feeling, so the only thing my stomach and throat allows is either chicken, beef stock, veggies, salad and fruits and spicy broth!
  15. I had my gastric bypass on March 12,2015 and it's been good but it wasn't easy because of the new change, new eating habits and trying to stay hydrated! I tried having the protein shake and it made me nauseous, they're days when I'm good and days when I feel weak but lately I have gotten a lot of energy and I exercise frequently now but I know God is helping me and he guides me threw this
  16. Well I'm hoping that I get to feel like me soon! It's been 2 in a half months since my surgery and I don't get hungry and when I do I try to eat and my stomach doesn't want to accept what I'm eating. Plz can someone answer if they have or had the same problem and when does it get better?
