UK Protein and liquids
@@gryffen Amazon.co.uk (shops sell them but easier and cheaper to buy in boxes of 12).. also Syntrax nectar was great pre and post op (also Amazon). I bought a few and loved the grape so stuck with that. Also take a look at www.myprotein.com. I buy my Protein latte from there and have one or two a day even now. Kate

After a sleeve does everyone need to have plastic surgery?
I have lost over 100llbs and having plastics in January. Im 56 and have had huge babies, have been overweight for a long time and although I think its drastic, the reality is after a year of working hard in the gym, swimming and walking my dog a lot... my tummy is dreadful and my breasts..... well, let just say they are a trip hazzard after taking my bra off. I can't wait. It's tidy up time

Can I eat crackers?
Crackers... wasted nutrition and a slider food for me. Just not worth it.

TT & BL on November 21!
@@Djmohr My surgery is Monday 9th of January. I am having five procedures done and can stay in hospital a week thank goodness. I woke up last night worrying about it..... I have waited for this for such a long time and now its happening !! I have started watching youtube about the surgery I am having and about how people have felt in their recovery. I am researching what I might need in the first few weeks at home. .....Im totally crapping myself lol. BUT ! Bring it on, I say. I have worked hard with my weight loss. Now its just the 'tidy up time'. We will both be fine. I know it. Will be thinking of you xxx

I am not a doctor, but... (post-op diet progression)
Its worth it even if only one person listens. Oh and worth posting everytime someone posts, 'I ate pizza after 3 days', 'I ate a hog roast on the way home from hospital;, 'I ate 5 packets of chips (crisps in the uk) on day 2 because I couldnt stand another day without chewing anything' types of posts. Thanks to the OP

What was your defining moment?
When I went to see the GP because I had an *accident* outside my home and nearly died of shame. I had a prolapsed womb pressing on my bladder and she mentioned I was pre-diabetic. On top of Hashimoto's disease, very high blood pressure, spinal stenosis (in my neck) and pain all over my body, I didn't want to be diabetic. And here we are today...

I found the page finally.
@@jadeedie Welcome to the UK boards. Best advice I could pass on is to really research before having the op. What to do pre op, what happens during the op and how to cope after, especially around food. Knowledge is power

Unsupportive sister[emoji35]
She sounds a little insecure if she has to point that out, just smile and hold out for the prize. You seem to be doing amazing, if shes not happy for you achieving what you have then block her out and just focus on what you are doing. Her journey is hers and yours is yours and we all do it at different speeds with different results. Kate x
