I have a friend that lives in Tijuana so I go there a few times a year. I sent photos to Dr. Suarez and he told me what he could do over the phone. I went over one day early to meet him in person and sign paperwork, ekg and labs. I spent the first night in his surgical recovery room and the next day moved to a recovery house. I feel so much better. Today I see my son for the first time in a few months (he's 22) I look so different and in jeans 4 sizes smaller just because of the tummy fat! I can't wait for his reaction!

Hi All, Well what happened is I went to see a doctor for a second opinion and he said the 360 would not give me the results I wanted in the tummy area. That they needed to concentrate on my tummy this trip and get it good and flat again. I never thought about it like that and so I changed dr.'s. I went to Dr. Luis Suarez in Tijuana Mexico. I feel great and he removed 20lbs of skin and fat from my tummy and sides. I've not been this flat in 20 years. I'm thrilled with the results. It's by far the best thing I've ever done for myself except for my lapband. more later

I'm 5 weeks from surgery! I can't wait any advice from those who have had it?

I'm returning to Mexico for surgery in June! I can't wait. I'm having a 360 body lift. I'll be happy to post pics when I get back.

Hello all this an update on my procedure. I plan to go in the late spring. I saw Dr. Quiroz over the weekend and he said I'M READY! WOOO HOOOO! I will post pics of my before this week. Anyone else have a date or seen Dr. Quiroz at Cosmed?

Had my surgery consult and I'm getting a new butt! I've always had a very flat butt.... nnnnnnoooooottttt after this spring. I can't wait. nj.

Hi All, I've been really busy the last 3 weeks. Work is booming. Did any one see Opra yesterday? She had band patients on. OK about me. I started with the trainer yesterday and the yoga teacher will be next week. I will be strong when I do this. I hope to hear from you guys soon . I miss the interaction. g'day nancy

Daytona! That's where I'm from! I'm a bike week person also. I went there in my honeymoon but that was 1976.... Now it's twice as much fun. You will have a blast. I've gone every year except last year since 1976. BTW you look wonderful in the suit. I was going to upload pic's of me today but they are so HUGE and I don't know how to make them smaller so I will have to wait for the resident computer geek to get home to help me. So did any of this help? LOL When I had my surgery I selected a physician in Mexico because of the physician's training. The clinic I selected was in TJ and my family had a a hard time with it. However they were not the one that was 364 lbs.. I was . So I chose who I was comfortable with. I chose Dr. Lopez because of his experience with placing the band. Dr. Lopez is a trainer physician for Inamed band. When I was there he was training 3 USA doctors on how to place the band! Crazy huh? All this talk about USA doc's and some are being trained in Mexico where they try to discourage you from going! Just do your homework and find someone you feel comfortable with. Kat I know what you mean. I'm a diabetic and sometimes when my blood sugar dips and changes to fast I forget where I am or where I was going. Before the "street biotch" <--- that's it's name I would have to pull over and cry for a while and then call someone and ask them how to get back on the correct road.:help: I would freak out. :faint: Now I just freak out a little and push the home button. LOL I don't have the episodes often but when I do I love having it in the car. I moved from Florida to Portland Oregon. In the city I don't have to drive very much but then we left the city to live at the bottom of Mt. Hood. So with the Mt roads and snow and me not being very good in snow it brings me great comfort to know I can get around such weather conditions or get to a friends house and wait for Bruce to come get me. LOL have a safe and happy new year.

I love ours also. Had it for a while now and I even take it wit me when I travel by plane. Rental car places have them now. Did you name yours?

I'm planning on loosing another 25-35 lbs prior to surgery, I've started core strength training and a yoga class. I walk 4 miles a day if the weather permits if not 35 mins on the treadmill and 15 on the cross country trainer. I will be a strong as I can be before I do this. If it means pushing it back a few months till my body is ready I will do that as well. I hate to exercise! It sucks every time I have to do it. LOL I hate it, But the results are the kicking curves I'm finding under the fat AND I don't float in the hot tub anymore. :omg:

breast, arms, and a little on the neck. It's the whole thing at one time. I will stay in Mexico for about 2 weeks and then return home for another 2 weeks of rest. Pepper you have not had surgery yet? Do your homework. Be committed and know what you are getting in to.

That's right! They cut from one side to the other. They work on all parts of your body at one time. I'm really working hard to be in shape for this. This is not an easy surgery. However I been dreaming about having it now for the past year! I have so much skin it slows me down and I've got to much life left to live! It's not for everyone and I will be closely monitored while in the recovery phase. Hope that answered the question. Have a safe and happy new year!

So do your research and ask all the questions you can. The more prepared you are the smoother it will go. Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to be having a 360 body life in the spring late summer. I can't wait. Thanks for doing the thread for us to read. It's been a life saver the past few days. I want to unhinge my jaw and tip the fridge up and suck it all in. LOL what a visual. Anyway I'm finding my way back to the wagon and hopping back with both feet. I'm on a mission now.

The price is a little less the $10,000.00 and I'm looking at CosMed Dr. Quiroz. I'm not committed to this doctor yet. I was in TJ for a fill when I had my consult. I'm also going to look for a doctor in Oregon, where I live. Just checking around.
