Mine is July 30!!

So glad I saw this! I'm going to Mexico at the end of July and was wondering the same thing. Would love to "see" some of Mexico, but didn't know if I'd really feel up to it.

Mine is scheduled for July 30 in Mexico. Very excited but nervous!!! Ready to get it done now!! If I weren't having to take college classes this summer, I would have scheduled it sooner!! lol

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one!!! I feel the same way...just hard for me to believe I'll be able to lose weight after a lifelong battle with my weight!! I just can't imagine being able to shop in the "normal" section of a clothing store!!! I plan to follow whatever diet they tell me to because I just want to lose this weight so badly!!!! I've got about 125-150 pounds to my goal weight, so I know it won't happen overnight!

I'm planning to do mine in Mexico in late July; I was quoted a price of $4600. Another doctor in Mexico was $8500. I personally know people that have used both of these facilities & received excellent care!!! I would definitely check into it!!

I'm doing mine in Mexico, too! Hopefully will find out tomorrow if I can get it set for July 30!!

I'm just starting the process...but so far I've just been emailing back & forth with the Patient Coordinator. I had to complete a Health Questionnaire to get approved, which I was. They emailed me a list of available dates to choose from & I've started from there. I will have to do an 18-day liquid diet before the surgery. Other than that, I don't know of any other prerequisites that have to be done. I've just been reading anything & everything I can!! I'm very anxious about the liquid diet, but I am so excited about the possibilities that will come with the surgery!!!

I'm in the process of scheduling my surgery with Dr. Alvarez for July 30. A friend of mine used him for her surgery in 2010 and has nothing but praise for him, his staff && the whole process. So far, I've been very impressed with Susan, my contact person. Is this around the time you will be going?
