I did 6 days post up... Lol! I'm 12 days post op now. Never coughed.. Puffed it slowly????????????????

The bite might have been too big. I experience the exact same thing if my sip is too big.

I've lost 10 yay!! I'm tolerating grits. I couldn't finish my protein smoothie this morning though. I've cottage cheese a few spoons and that's it. Not reaching fluid goals but am putting effort.

I was sleeved on the 21st and yes it's hard and if I take one sip too many my stomach contracts and I get a sharp pain that lasts a few seconds. Do you have a medicine cup? If not I found mini two oz cups at Walmart that I fill up and sip on for 15 mins.

It's normal. With a PE you wouldn't be able to take a deep breath. You'll be very short of breath. I'm going through the same at 3 days post op

My back hurts too after I take a deep breath. The pain is in the kidney area. I believe is due to soreness from the gas they put in our abdomen so they can see what they're doing. It doesn't hurt to run it by your surgeon though.

Make sure you walk around the house as much as you can. When I'm laying down I move my legs as much as possible.

I stayed till day after surgery. If you do it as an outpatient then you will go home the same day..

Good morning sleeve buddy. I was sleeved on 7/21. I'm off nausea meds. I have gas pain still. And sometimes I get a sharp pain in my stomach when I'm sipping fluids. How are you feeling?

Hi everyone! Surgery went well. Went home the next day. I have a lot of gas pain still and my stomach won't stop growling. I got a little of protein shake in, some water, broth, and a Popsicle today and my tummy is still growling. I took an omeprazole but my stomach is still growling visciously lol

I'm 2 days post op and totally agree the gas pain and stomach growling is very evil.. Lol I think I over did it when I ate a whole sugar free Popsicle now I'm feeling cramps that come and go like a contraction. Lol take your meds and walk as often as u can.

I'm two days post up and had same problem due to my swollen new tummy. My doctor ordered 2 rounds of decadron. I started to feel better and was discharged later that evening yesterday.
