  1. I'm only telling my mother who is going with me and having it done the same day! It's no one business!! People are mean nasty and judgy and I don't have time for that!!! My BMI is on the lower side and I don't want to hear "oh you don't need it" or "just diet and exercise" Uh clearly that's not working for me! Lol It's really a personal choice I feel it's private. I mean do you tell everyone you meet that you are a vegetarian or don't use salt on your food etc.... or feel the need to tell them any other eating routines or health habits you have? I don't see why we would tell everyone anyway. Hi I'm April I had the gastric sleeve..... ???? no one cares, it just opens you up for people to be negative and ugly!
  2. I had a addiction to it also. Drank it everyday all day!!! I quit by just having one with each meal. Then just having one a day then a couple a week. I slowly cut them down to like now I have one once a month if even and they aren't as good as they used to be!! I'm set for my sleeve June 8th and the thought of never having a diet coke again doesn't bother me! I never thought I'd say that!!! Cutting down was hard! I got headaches at first but they got better after a couple weeks. id eat drink lots of Water and take ibuprofen or excedrine! Good luck
  3. It's not easy it's a tool!! All the people who say that are just jealous!!! Scared you'll be or are hotter then them ????
  4. Anyone suffering from IBS have the sleeve? I have either constipation gas and bloating or diarrhea ALL the time due to sensitive and irritable bowels. TMI I know sorry, but I wanted to see if anyone with the sleeve has the same and how their IBS is after the sleeve?
  5. They do have good reviews! I think dr Garcia moved to Cer hospital, in sleeping June 8th there. I've heard only great things about it!
  6. I've heard great things about CER!!!!
  7. Can I never take ibuprofen again after the sleeve?? Even if taken with food?
  8. Awesome!!! Sounds great! Keep up the awesome work!! What's your goal weight?
  9. Linda has been my contact person my mom had used alma with her lap band in the past. I love Linda she is speedy to get back to me very sweet and answers all my questions with patience! I love her!
  10. Anyone used him? Any reviews on him or the facility?
  11. I'm 30yo. My BMI is lower than some getting sleeved but I qualify so I'm scheduled June 8th. I have a apple shape most of my weight is in my breast stomach and back. Also my face is rounder since I got the 200 mark. Anyone else with similar stats get sleeved??? How's you weight loss and body shape been doing!? Let me know
  12. Im scheduled June 8th! Anyone else used him at this facility!!! Just curious how it went for you guys??!?? Thanks
  13. This is what I love to hear!!!!! Thx so much! So encouraging
  14. I was just starving I'm not sure! Im trying to cut back in these months before surgery. I really hope after the sleeve my hunger isn't so bad! I hope once I know I really can't pig out because of my sleeve I'll just get it off my mind!
  15. Im sleeving June 8th and just nervous about being hungry, getting weak, having headaches, and low blood sugar!!! I hardly made it from breakfast to lunch today lol!!!! Lord help me!!
  16. Thanks jewel. I've heard it's easier to loose the first 6 months!!! I think that's a great idea to shoot below goal!!!! I've never thought of this but it makes since!!! Thx
  17. Thx Chris!!! Great info! I'm even more excited now!!!!!!!
  18. That's a fact of life people are negative towards heavier people!! They stereotype always have always will!!! Being with someone and wondering if they would want you if you were still big..... The answer well it is what it is and people are mean!!! I guess the key is finding a decent human being out there!! There a few good ones left! Gotta kiss a lot of frogs they say lol
  19. Don't weigh everyday!!! Weigh once a week at most or every 2 weeks! Measure inches if you need to do something more often. Water weight can fluctuate up to 10lbs (esp after surgery)!and can be discouraging!!
  20. Hi me and my mom are having the sleeve June 8th, I was wondering about walking around Tijuana? Did it seem safe? We will be at the Marriott I love walking I'll want to walk a bunch and was wondering how it was??
  21. What a bunch of douche lords!!!! I don't plan on telling anyone I've had it (June 8th date) I prefer to let them think I'm just a picky eater. If you do tell a guy wait till your long term super serious like marriage talk. They shouldn't care. If anything they should be proud!!! I hate a-hole men lol this post made me so mad ha ha
  22. Praying for you Hun!!! You'll look back on it and be glad you did it!!! This is the tough part but it will pass!!!
  23. Preach it!!!! This is why I've told no one except my mom who is having it done the same day!!! She also told no one! I'm happy this way. I don't want to hear everyone's negativity!
  24. Yes Bruce impressed me!!! Please do come back and tell what happened!!! I'm so curious!!!
